The last week or so you probably saw posts on all the relevent streetwear blogs, on the brand – NHTVSN, a subline of 3Sixteen. We got in 5 of their tees. Perfect fit for the cinematic culture at Butter, and the North Star shirt for me and the few hockey fans out there. Thanks to Chris, Mike, and Jared for coming through…Jonathan, we got those flicks of you saved for a rainy day, I’d post them but I end up angry I don’t have that hat, haha!

It was from the in your face camera-style shot video for the Beastie Boys’ “Sure Shot” when I first heard the name and eventually began to look up who this man was. “I rock the microphone and then I’m gone, I’m like Vaughn…Bode, I’m a Cheech Wizard, never quittin’ so won’t you listen….”

Vaughn Bode is renowned as one of the most influential cartoonists in the art world, and especially amongst graffiti writers. If you go back and do some research (or come through and watch “Style Wars” at the shop) you’ll notice Bode’s lettering and character influence in legendary writers like Mare, Seen, Dondi, and more…

Puma follows up last year’s Bode Clyde success with the Cheech Wizard signature colors & stars on the Puma Basket.
