We introduced you to EK5OBITION a couple months ago and by now you’ve the likes of “So Real Crew” and “Super Crew” on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew exceeding the norm and rockin’ EK5OBITION to the fullest. This late summer drop is consistent with the true school hip-hop culture thing they got going and keeps the feeling of summer in season.

Air Jordan 6 Rings – Coming next Saturday August 16th

The legacy of his Airness continues – the 6 Rings is comprised of the kicks Mike rocked during both of his three-peats. The Jordan VI, VII, VIII – XI, XII, XIII are the classics that make up this new hybrid. Look for the 6 Rings shoe to roll out other enticing colorways such as the White/Concord, and the one featuring the 6 teams that the Bulls defeated in the NBA Finals, but the first tends to be the best – so don’t sleep.

These beauties were inspired by the late Spanish artist Joan Miró and were only released at Opium for their grand opening in Barcelona.

During the Summer of 2002 I distinctly remember walking around downtown with Young Sweta. After stopping at our normal run of spots I asked if he ever heard of ALIFE. I had been noticing colorful ads in the back of every Mass Appeal mag…and to make a long story short, we finally discovered what we had been hearing about. I could go on and on about how it felt to cop my first pair from there or what exactly Alife means to our culture, but by now I’m assuming most know, and the ones that don’t, I prefer do the legwork themselves and truly experience something like no other. I know, I know these days there’s a lot of shops with a lot to offer, some that straight up look like Alife, but they continue to separate themselves from the pack.

But while I still do encourage experiencing ALIFE firsthand, we’re proud to add them to our Butter collection.

Footwear highlights include the Everybody Hi above, and the Everybody Mid (Parachute) below. Every shoe comes with multiple laces, ALIFE hangtag, and super buttery leather collar lining and insole. Those of you who watched History channel last night should now be up to speed with the terminology. I myself, was sitting in disappointment as Fanny Pack somehow got eliminated of America’s Best Dance Crew….
