Now Playing: A Tribe Called Quest feat. Air Jordan 1- Butter
Conscious and sophisticated, A Tribe Called Quest embodied early 90′s Hip Hop and the Golden Age as we know it today. Q- tip’s smooth and reserved lyrics combined with Phife Dog’s party rocking, is the perfect recipe for true Hip Hop . The Low End Theory, released in 1991 will be forever recognized as one of the most influential albums in Hip Hop History. The sexy female silhouette comprised of red and green stripes for the album cover, serves as a perfect segway for the music. Much like The Low End Theory, the Air Jordan 1 set its mark in 1985 as a daring basketball shoe which challenged the environment in which it was placed. It was only fitting that Jordan brand combine the elements of The Low End Theory with their Air Jordan 1 to create this embodiment of a Golden Age in both sports and music.

Featuring black mesh with embroidered red and green stripes for the toe-box and side-panel as well as black leather and a black patent swoosh making up the remainder.

Also accompanying this release: A black and white tee based off of the midnight marauders album cover.

And the original Jordan Flight logo laced in the Tribe color-way. Available in both black and white.
