Avoid Swine Flu - stay MIGHTY HEALTHY!!
With fresh new MIGHTY HEALTHY, swine flu don’t stand a chance!!
Nice with the Hands - I’m just going to use MH’s own perfect description - “A double entendre graphic, paying homage to the movie heroes that handled their business without the help of man made weapons as well as the artists that made the posters without any Adobe products”. How brilliant is that?? But the only thing…I can’t figure out any of the references. Our friend Simon helped us with the bottom one, I will have to netflix that. If anyone can get the rest, I’ll buy you ice cream.

Bucktown Variety Hour - mighty clever…”I find reality follows me where I roam, 360 degrees back home BUCK TOWN!”

Wigsplitters - “and remember, Morrie’s wigs are tested against hurricane winds”

getting healthier each day…

Here you go girls…
Wmns Blazer High - this has to be one of my favorite Blazers in a long time. Red rope lacing, clear ripstop upper gives it an onion skin look, and ballistic nylon toebox that shoots right up the tongue…pause.
Wmns Dunk High Premium - metallic silver snake skin siding…so sexy!
Blazer Mid - (kids sizing) keeps things on the shiny tip with pink canvas embedded with sparkles, and white patent leather on the eyestay and swoosh.
Mogan Mid 6.0 (kids sizes)
Dunk Low 6.0 - zebra stripes
Dunk High Nylon - as seen before, but had to get sizes for the females…

1 commentFun Police and Hypermax
Two new and interesting releases from Nike fresh for on court styling and such…
The Zoom FP or “Fun Police” is a hybrid sneaker consisting of past player signatures from Jason Kidd (Zoom Flight V), Kevin Garnett (Air Garnett III), and Tim Hardaway (Zoom Flight T-Bug).
The “Fun Police” was campaign in the mid-90’s that Nike had to showcase a lot of the league’s young talent - clever commercials depicted the athletes policing ballers left and right making sure the game was played right, and fun was being had. Check a FP commercial by clicking the Wieden + Kennedy site here.
Another new silhouette to take the courts this summer is the Nike Hypermax. The design keeps a similar look to last year’s popular Hyperdunk, but this time incorporating a classic Air Max sole. The shoe also takes inspiration from Charles Barkley’s signature Air Max2 and CB34, and features a stitched tag on the insole of Sir Charles telling you this shoe features “technology so advanced, you won’t understand”.

Ready to get smacked in the face?!
With kicks!! Check it…
“Jackie Robinson pack” Blazer Hi’s: commemorating the baseball legend that broke racial boundaries. Each shoe has the “Brooklyn” script logo on the tongue and makes use of different materials. Red comes in canvas, Grey comes in leather, and Blue comes in nubuck and is also emblazoned with the Brooklyn “B” in a diamond pattern that dominates the upper.
Staying in the Blazer fam is a Blazer Mid that features a metallic silver foil crinkled leather on the fat belly swoosh and heel tab.
The second color of the RT1 is in, featuring a mainly neutral grey upper with green mist accents, and a safari printed heel.
Dunk High Nylon Premium - self explanatory, black, vivid pink, white bottom (got some small sizes too girls!)
This Dunk Low comes in an upper that uses a mix of hemp, canvas, suede, and leather.
6.0 comes through again with yet another strong Dunk Low colorway.
Air Max 90 - black, red, white - gradient fade on the back portion
The second color of Air Prestos has arrived as well in team orange.
Air Max 1 “Lunar” commemorates the USA’s 40th Anniversary of landing on the moon. Crater-like pattern makes up the black leather on the mudguard for a space-like feel…perfect timing with the New Moon that just entered Taurus yesterday! (For insightful little astrological updates I recommending adding super astrologer Debra Clement or following her twitter)
We also got the 2nd Huarache-inspired Air Force 1 Low Supreme. Crispy white leather throughout, clear bottom, but this time no neo….prene.

1 commentCinco De Mayo
Besides a borderline annoying song by Liz Phair, the unforseen Mexican defeat of the French Army, and an overall celebration of Mexican pride and heritage…it is now the basis for the most recent theme to don the classic Air Jordan 1.
Available in black nubuck or white perforated leather

No comments3sixteen Seersucker Utility Shirt
Grown Man Business - a section dedicated to highlighting various cut & sew pieces that lend to a more sophisticated look. Streetwear these days has transcended the basic graphic t-shirt, all-over printed hoodie, and has stepped into a realm where it now offers versatile pieces that can be dressed up for a more mature look, or still be mixed in with the classic streetwear styles, with a touch of class.
In this installment we are featuring the 3sixteen Seersucker Utility Shirt, and the Vans Surf Rata Plus.

The blue seersucker utility shirt features the button up sleeve-with herringbone twill sleeve strap, a crossed back yoke, white cuff interior, asymmetrical pocket flaps, and hidden 3Sixteen embroidery underneath the front placket.

Name: Claude Maynard II - “Mr. Maynard”
Age: 29
Occupation: “Renaissance Man”
Favorite Movie(s): Snatch, The Darjeerling Limited, Stand By Me
Agenda: 6:30PM at Brew 7. As Claude plans his long week ahead, this is the quiet time before the night which later turns into a film noir…starring “Mr. Maynard”.
Grown Man Business: “The 3sixteen Seersucker Utility shirt is multifaceted in its appearance. Complex and quality in a simplistic form. This is a piece I seriously connect with and can easily bring to Polo matches in the Hamptons, or Yacht parties on the harbor.”
NEW Vans Vault and Surf
Greetings…
I know the last day or so may not have been too indicative of the warmth and perfection of the Spring season we got a small taste of this weekend, but believe it or not…it will be here. Sooner than you think. As shorts and shades begin to come out, you best believe Extra Butter will be ready to keep you looking smooth.
When you think VANS you tend to think of the beauty out west in sunny California, but out on Long Island, we got plenty of that as well. Whether it be Jones Beach, Long Beach, Robert Moses…there are plenty of spots to get lost in and soak up the sun. Now, I don’t know about you…but I’m not much of a flip-flop guy. It goes beyond having sensitive pisces feet - I really can’t stand the overall lack of support, and they never quite compliment what you’re wearing… not like these can at least.
The Vans Surf line is growing in a direction we’re very happy to be a part of here at EB. Taking classic silhouettes and giving them treatments that have resulted in lighter, earth friendly, money friendly, comfy footwear. All the styles compliment shorts with ease, and transition into denim, seersucker, plaid, and other summery pants that will take one into the evening.
Check out these perfectly casual and simple kicks…
106 SF - skate silhouette, super light sole, and organic canvas
Santa Anna - buttery white suede with that tiny touch of purple makes this penny loafer-type style a must.
Rata Plus - this has been a fave of ours for a while. The quarry/grey color featured first is as clean as it gets, and for something more breatheable and even lighter - the black pair, comprised of “air mesh” is super breezy.
Cojo - all black to the floor with use of a crepe sole and ripstop upper, these go with everything.
We also got 2 classic Authentics, from the VAULT line, fully styled in organic, earth friendly materials.
I’d say you’re just about set for the summer…

3 commentsButter Loves Puma, Puma Loves Butter
Orange and Blue; Colors representative of New York and our infamous sports teams. Below is the Puma Clyde “Hall of Game”, paying homage to ‘Clyde’ Frazier’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Consistent with the buttery suede motif, the ‘Hall of Game’ also features the same leather pebbling that you would find on a basketball on the stripe, and the back heel tab.
Another revamped classic is the Puma First Round (below). However this First Round features a ‘vice~versa’ repeat shoe pattern on the upper which is also entirely made of buttery suede. The stripe and upper heel tab feature an azalea pink patent leather.
For the ladies, the First Round ‘Perforated Zag’ is perfect to keep your feet looking cool, in the upcoming warm weather. The icy color-palette is refreshing and simple, and features actual stitched laces, as well as a ‘wet’ reptile material on the stripe.
Slim and sleek the Puma Key offers the ladies a futuristic Jetson-esque look for the spring. The sleek strap and mesh paneling give this shoe a sporty and sophisticated look.

4 commentsDUB ZEROS are BACK!!
With all the hybrids that have come about this year, it’s nice to see the original Air Jordan hybrid make it’s return. The Tinker Hatfield designed DUB ZERO has made is back, 4 years after it’s original release. The Dub Zeros pay tribute to the wealthy career of MJ, and take inspiration from many of the shoes in his extensive collection that make up the print of the embroidery on the upper.
