Fun Police and Hypermax
Two new and interesting releases from Nike fresh for on court styling and such…
The Zoom FP or “Fun Police” is a hybrid sneaker consisting of past player signatures from Jason Kidd (Zoom Flight V), Kevin Garnett (Air Garnett III), and Tim Hardaway (Zoom Flight T-Bug).
The “Fun Police” was campaign in the mid-90′s that Nike had to showcase a lot of the league’s young talent – clever commercials depicted the athletes policing ballers left and right making sure the game was played right, and fun was being had. Check a FP commercial by clicking the Wieden + Kennedy site here.
Another new silhouette to take the courts this summer is the Nike Hypermax. The design keeps a similar look to last year’s popular Hyperdunk, but this time incorporating a classic Air Max sole. The shoe also takes inspiration from Charles Barkley’s signature Air Max2 and CB34, and features a stitched tag on the insole of Sir Charles telling you this shoe features “technology so advanced, you won’t understand”.
