Vans Surf - Raglan

Category: New Arrivals

The EB fave - Vans Surf line returns with a new silhouette called the “Raglan”.

This unique mid-cut style comes equipped with the eco-friendly features that are a staple of the growingly popular Vans Surf collection. The super lightweight design comes with a waste-free, ultra-flexible injection-molded one piece outsole, moisture wicking anti-bacterial bamboo lining…oh and the glue and ink used are all water-based. If you’ve noticed - more and more kicks are coming out from various brands that implement various features that allow for a more eco-friendly design. This is definitely the future…

The first “wine tasting” colorway was done up by Alex Knost of the Captain Fin Co. - a D.I.Y. company that specializes in artistic hand-foiled signature fins. And you see that little magenta-colored stitch below the first eyelet, well the shoes come with a 2nd pair of laces of the same hot color.

We also brought in the Huntington Beach pro-surfer - “Timmy Reyes” colorway, which is comprised of a tough black oiled canvas. The interior is the opposite as it sports a plush black denim collar lining for comfort. Burnt orange laces is the 2nd set for this pair…

I have a major beef with Vans right now. This is the second time I have received a brand new issue of Surfer magazine to find an awesome pair of Vans shoes featured in an ad and when I go online to buy them, the color-way featured in the brand new magazine is not available in my size. You think that they would make that color and size available long enough that a few people that see the ads could purchase them. This is the second time that this has happened with the Vans surf line when I wanted to buy the Lo Crepe in a color-way that was featured in a magazine. One would think that spending all of that money publishing an ad in a magazine, that vans would have their shit together enough to sell their featured products.

Needless to say, if anyone has a link to a store that sells the Raglan, Timmy Reyes colorway in size 10, I would be stoked.
