Nike Blazer Hi Premium ND “Selvage”
Amongst denim connoisseur’s, selvage is the epitome of strength, quality, and endurance, particularly when it comes to breaking in a pair of jeans over the course of a year from ‘raw’ to ‘distressed’. This type of process is personal and the results vary based on how one wears their jeans. It is especially popular amongst those who study and collect vintage Americana. There is nothing like breaking in a new pair of raw selvage, whether your wearing your A.P.C. New Standards, Pure Blue Japan, 3Sixteen, or in my case RRL. Taking this theme of quality to another level, Nike has dressed it’s classic Blazer silhouette in premium ‘Selvage’ denim. Featuring stitching that resembles clean inseams, and premium leather much like the rear belt patches on various selvage denim, this shoe is right up any denim aficionado’s alley.
Hopefully as I wear these, I can achieve results similar to those on my own selvage denim jeans. Also, look out for the Nike Terminator version, which we will be receiving sometime soon.

are these sanforized? if so i’m going to wear my pair 3 sizes too small hoping for at 2% elasticity. when they break in i think i’ll be able to achieve epic results like whiskers on the tongue, honeycombs on the toebox, and stacks under the swoosh!

Should I size down 2 or 3 on these to achieve epic fadez?!

The sneaker looks very nice with the raw denim that has a two-toned in a darker and lighter version to match the hottest jeans you have in your closet. There is a brown Nike emblem on the heel that is comparable to the hem stitch on a fresh pair of jeans. The sneakers features include the white / red selvage piping and a Nike tag in white and red. I noticed that some of them have rivets on the back, yours and mine dont. Damn
only the original samples had the rivets. none of the ones that were officially produced do.
