Not only one of my top 5 emcees, Ghostface Killah is in my opinion the most influential hip-hop artist in our sneakerhead/streetwear culture that’s rampant with Ghost’s lyrical references and one of a kind slang. This legendary (but underrated) Mighty Healthy t-shirt couldn’t state it any better….

The Adidas Forum Mid is decked out in a plush purple suede with gold/gum accents - reminiscent of many things purple from Ghost’s illustrious career, such as the “Pretty Toney” album cover or his unforgettable appearances on Raekwon’s “purple tape”.

The Superstar II colorway takes its cue from his 5th solo album “Fishscale”. Black ripstop nylon makes up the bulk of the upper, fishscale treatment on the stripes, tonal “Ghostface” logo towards the back, and “Pretty Tony” metallic silver heel tab.

“Whip You With a Strap” was one of the album highlights, thought these lyrics were fitting - “nowadays kids don’t get beat, they get big treats…fresh pair of sneaks, punishments like ‘have a seat’…”

I promised I wouldn’t say from who, but I’ve got a couple of responses saying they weren’t coming through tomorrow night, Devil’s Night, October 30th for 10 Deep’s screening of “The Exorcist”, because the film is O.D. scary!!

I honestly have to agree to some extent, but it’s the night before Halloween…and in addition to the 10 Deep & Pabst Blue Ribbon Gift Boxes we’ll have, we’ll also be releasing a very limited 10 Deep x Extra Butter t-shirt that I was on here to post a teaser picture for, but decided to not.

But I assure you, it is everything that is statement making, bold, in your face, and every reason why 10 Deep got me into streetwear in the first place (Original Problem Solvers t-shirt, black/yellow - smaller brass knucks, apparently un-googleable). Truly an honor, play this video to check out my reaction to my first view of the limited “Exorcist” tee…

To further the creepiness, we were in Cedarhurst Paper picking up something special for our new window display. A strange old man that I’m not even sure worked there, decided to go out of his way to help us find the grossness that we needed. He asked why we needed it and Russ asked him if he ever saw “The Exorcist”. His reply - “Have I seen it!? I LIVED IT!”.

He proceeded to go on and on with some story that I just walked away from spooked out. Perhaps Russ and Alex can you fill you on what he said. Friday Night 10/30 - 9PM…See you there you faithless slime!!!!

On Devil’s Night (of all dates)…movie night will be at it’s most evil when 10 Deep presents a film screening of  “The Exorcist”.
Not of Emily Rose…we’re talking about the horrifying, head spinning little girl named Regan in the 1973 legendary horror classic by William Friedkin.

A truly special evening is ahead of us - please arrive on time and have first crack at picking up a limited giftbag that might turn you into a demon…if you miss out on getting one!!

**Anyone with their own chairs, pillows, blankets are encouraged to bring them down for their own comfort…or to hide behind when you get scared**

So Air Jordan brings back the XII in a new “Rising Sun” themed design AND brings back the retro card, all set to release on November 21st, 2009.

We also got 2 new Air Jordan 1’s from the “Sixty Plus” theme, this time dropping in the colorways of the Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavaliers - two more victims of Jordan’s 60 point barrage.

From the 6.0 side of things, another new sick Women’s Dunk High

On the men’s side of 6.0 we brought in a purple plaid pack featuring the Air Braata and Mavrk Mid Premium. The Bratta sports patterned laces and a siped bottom keeping it true to the boat-shoe aesthetics. The Mavrk Mid Premium’s inside is lined with a cozy black sherpa to keep your feet warm in the winter.

Speaking of keeping your feet warm…AND dry - the Wale-choice of Nike boots, Air Max Goadome is here in a nice chocolate/black colorway.

We also recevied 2 new Air Max 90’s in kids sizes. The black/very berry colorway is produced with the “Nike Considered” ethos, has a gold star print tongue log, and tonal plaid toe box. The other pair just stays fly in a fresh palette of vibrant colors.

And last but not least - a nice little surprise retro from Nike, the controversial shoe of choice - Air Bakin’. Please tell me you know this story by now, if not you need to step your T. Hardaway killer cross-over game up!!

Leroy Smith yo! The Mastivator himself, the man responsible for Michael Jordan’s illustrious career, gets his very own Jordan 1!!

These Air Jordan 1 quickstrikes are limited and yes, a bit loud in design, but I assure you as time passes, the Leroy Smith story will be highly regarded. Other such characters that have crossed paths with MJ (Mars Blackmon, Bugs Bunny), all share a sacred space in Air Jordan’s legacy.

If you’re not sold on the shoe’s greatness, then I’ll just let the smooth-talk of this video get you…

Amongst Friends is back with some Fall goodies…

We’ve brought in the “Playing Through” tee, the shearling-lined, corduroy “Super Trapper New Era”, and the “Ace Vest” which mixes warm cotton plaid, lambskin, duck canvas, and a plush corduroy.
