No games played here, we got a true like royal blue restock of the Air Jordan XI’s (Sorry, no kids, mens sizes only)!! This surprise re-stock was a reward from Jordan Brand for our exemplary efforts, and will be available tomorrow morning - Thursday, December 31st at 11AM. With the use of retro ingredients the Flight 45 contains strong nostalgic flavor from past Jordan Brand models. This particular quickstrike release shows various mathematical/numerical combination’s pointing to Jordan’s ‘45′ comeback number. An added bonus of all Flight 45’s is the re-introduction of the thick plastic OG hang-tag.

With fusions rampant, nothing can or will beat the Spizike. Co-branded and co-designed by iconic director Spike Lee aka ‘Mars Blackmon’ the Spizike pays homage to all of the projects he was involved in with Jordan Brand. On this “Fresh Since ‘85″ model, the infamous ‘Do You Know’ phrase is repeated througout the lining as well as featured on the sleekest looking retro card to date. Mike-Mars lace locks are the added gems which point to the historic relationship between Mike and Spike as well as the flawless color-way combination of the White/Cement, Fire Red, and True Blue 3’s. The Air Jordan Spizike ‘Fresh Since ‘85′ is set to release 1.09.2010 for $175.00.

Greetings everyone! Just because the Space Jam release passed and the big holiday itself, doesn’t mean it’s over. Especially at Extra Butter, where every day feels like Christmas!

Love them or hate them, Christmas songs are a staple this time of year, and with that in mind we teamed up with SneakerNews for our very own festive rendition of the “12 Days of Christmas” song. Except the gift of giving by our true love involved a shared true love of our own…Air Jordans!

The numbers from the song were given our own special twist a la Air Jordan signature models and their corresponding numbers.  Our mutual friends at 2B-Original brought this project to life by illustrating caricatures that play on each Air Jordan shoe’s design/color nickname.

Mini-sized posters will be available in the near future… ’tis the season!!

How could I forget…one more goody before the night is over.

I’m sick of terms to describe that which is “clean”, “grown man”, etc. We get it, and I’m glad people are starting to get handsome, but these are simply DOPE! Lightweight, the smoothest…BUTTERIEST leather, bold tongue tag, and chunky front eyelet in the off color is bananas!

This sneaker is a perfect compliment to the many looks we offer at the shop top to bottom.

We knew this was coming, and to be honest we’re pretty glad it’s over. By now we’ve seen coverage of the lineups at other stores, some which involved a bit of riotting and disorderly conduct. Such a shame, but anyone not new to the game knows that it’s all just simply part of it.

Everyone here is thankful to first and foremost receive the Space Jams for release, but also to everyone who came out and supported. Whether they got their pair/size or not, everyone stayed cool and kept things running smooth…

Hello again! Fresh and early for the New Year…check out the latest from Nike all available NOW!!

You know what…I’m freezing today. I didn’t wait on line last night or anything so I really shouldn’t complain. But…these new Air Max Skyline are beautiful. And the warm sunrise-looking colorway makes me feel nice and warm.

Speaking of being cold…I’ve been excited about these for a while - the Nike Woodside!! Just like the duck boots mom dressed me in when I was younger. I’m ready for the weather…bring it!! Actually don’t…

A lot of people are excited about these too. New Dunk High Supreme’s designed by Futura! Tiger-camo upper in navy/orange on that Be True to your School steez. Gum bottom and a little graphic on the insole hitting home that Orangemen flavor.

We got two new Dunks as well with simple colorways also reminiscent of the Be True to your School campaigns. The low is white/dark obsidian (sorry if it looks black), and the white/red Dunk High…classic!

We also received the Toki ND. In a dope Stussy Blazer-esque colorway, the navy/pink super fresh for this clean chukka-like style. I don’t know about you…but I miss the Air Sabaku’s…but these Toki’s are a worthy replacement…

Nike 6.0 time…Zoom Oncore High comes in a rough colorway with excellent use of materials as always.

Girls…we got you too! Nike 6.0 brings back the Wmns Mogan Mid in a creative combo of colors…

And last - a Wmns 6.0 Dunk Low, as fresh as it gets…

As you’ve seen and heard Air Jordan has been finishing this year with a bang with the retro release of the Space Jam Air Jordan XI’s. For 2010 there are many exciting releases in-store including new non-retro models that I think will be the hot retro releases in the future.

Yesterday we posted the Girls Air Jordan Classic ‘91 - today we received the Men’s colorway, which is a mean black with purple.

My favorite of the non-retro’s is this one - the Flight 45 High! Incredible look dressed up or down, the first 2 colors are typical Jordan staples, and the throwback plastic hang tag is an excellent touch!

The black cat-like pair comes in kids sizes as well…

Talk about just in time for Christmas…ONLY NY with another solid collection to make us all happy!!

The collection features their signature graphic t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, 5-panel caps, snapbacks, camper hats with leather strap closure, and knit pom beanies….ALL with that classic ONLY NY aesthetic!

Some of my personal faves are the 5-panels made of water-resistant material, and the “City Logo” t-shirt/hoody and “Grotesk Delivery” tee designed by the world famous artist - Grotesk.

The New York Islanders are the ONLY major Long Island sports franchise, which gives us even more reason to support them to the fullest. A dynasty in the early 80’s - this year’s team is comprised of rising stars looking to bring the glory back to this part of NY.  We also participated in a food drive by donating canned goods to support the efforts of Island Harvest in their quest to feed people during the holiday season. Check out our experience, decked out in ONLY…

Thank you to Kim at Island Harvest - Islanders lost 4-2 but we had a blast!!
