April Nike arrivals and baseball on the mind
Okay religious BUTTER blog reader…I see you back on here again!! (thank you, thank you)
And yes, you’re psyched to celebrate Roose’s birthday Friday Night when we watch the 1989 classic “Major League”…we are too. And we got in some more gear to drive home the theme even more….
Air Griffey Max GD II. Nice to see the return of another classic Griffey with a full bubble bottom.
With the smoothest swing there is and 630 homeruns under his belt, Griffey Jr. is definitely a heavy hitter! And YES…the new Mighty Healthy spring delivery has arrived! Their spring collection is baseball-inspired as well…thought this matched up kind of nice.

Another Futura Air Force 1 is in stock. Wicked purple accents joint the metallic silver and white this time around. Peep the baseball bats in the back as well. Clean as can be. Spring time is a good time for breaking out your v-necks, and Mighty Healthy serves you up an easy 3-pack of v-necks in white, black, and grey. Easy!
Lastly, another Air Force 1 in an easy black/red. The black part comes in a woven canvas material and the shoe also goes quite nice with another Mighty Healthy Spring delivery baseball classic – “Mr. Beisbol t-shirt”.

These are all available now, and please check later in the week to see the rest of the Mighty Healthy Spring collection, that’s if there’s any left to take photos of…
Going, going, GONE!

This is the best Lebron to come out, hands down. Very limited quantity so…make your move.

Where should Lebron sign over the summer??

HA! I doubt it, but you never know….

1 commentSeen Recently…
Thanks to the new ability to stream my netflix instant queue from my Wii to my TV, I was able to spend the weekend watching some flicks… (in no particular order)
1. The Cable Guy: If I watch a comedy these days, there’s about 99% chance it wasn’t made past the year 2000. Probably earlier. But, I do miss the days when I did, and they were good. Always liked the darkness of this…mixed with Jim Carrey’s absurdity as well. AND before Jack Black was super annoying.

2. Antichrist – I’m a big fan of “Dogville” and “Dancer in the Dark”, but I didn’t enjoy this one too much. Visually stunning…and I cringed more than a couple of times. Dafoe and Gainsbourg performed strong. Just didn’t get too into Lars Von Trier’s dark world on this one.

3. Planet B-boy: I’ve seen this a handful of times…it’s not really a favorite or anything, just something I wanted to put on to remind myself that I should be more active and get back to the goodness of dancing.

4. Dead Snow: Now this was absurd. You can explore for yourselves if you want. It was entertaining at times, and some decent special efx/make-up.

5. Slap Shot: Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve watched this film. It was fun to see hockey in it’s most degenerate, goon-ish state…especially with my Islanders lacking any sort of physical game this year. I can see why this is a classic, and it definitely got me psyched for the playoff hockey coming in a few weeks!

These 5 films really don’t go together at all do they…I’m not sure what that says about my movie mood as of late, but hopefully I’m back with a few more later in the week. Feel free to use the comment section – always welcome and look forward to hearing the good word out there if anyone has stuff to share regarding the above.
ALSO – some interesting things planned for April, starting with a movie night this Friday! Hint: “You trying to say Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball?”. Stay tuned….

No commentsAdidas – classic releases for March
Adidas again my friends…
We got these in before the weekend, and already they’ve been scooped up with the quickness. I attribute a combination of nostalgia, good price points, the usual buttery materials, and classic styles you just can’t go wrong with!
Gazelle’s… HEMP Gazelle’s in a sweet navy. The shoe is made from organic hemp which makes it really lightweight, but also just as clean as can be.
Classic suede Gazelles in a “ruby red” as fresh as can be. Make your statement the classic way…
And a personal favorite, the Samba. Whether you played indoor soccer as a kid, or still do now…these were and still are the best. A comfy shoe that’s forever classic.

2 commentsNike Air Trainer SC 2010 Low – Manny Pacquiao “Pac-Man”
Look what made it’s way here…fresh off the victory over Mr. Gloves-covering the face, I mean…Joshua Clottey.
The best pound for pound fighter, Manny Pacquiao - Nike Air Trainer SC 2010 Low “Pac Mans” come in a special pull-out box, multiple sets of laces, and in-soles filled with more artwork paying homage to the living legend. Not to mention, the Air Trainer SC 2010 Low is one of the most comfortable and lightweight shoes I’ve ever had on.
The colorway should satisfy the legions of Filipino sneakerhead & streetwear connoseurs, as it is a nod to the flag of the Philippines. The metallic gold featured on the tongue tag, heel tab, and swoosh all shine bright as they are made of 3m reflective material.
Here’s hoping that Floyd Mayweather comes around and allows the highly anticipated bout with “Pac Man” to happen…
