Adidas Superstar II and Stand Smith 80′s TF (Transform)
So check this out…2 new buttery pairs of Adidas came in, and when I say “buttery”, it’s not just in terms of the premium materials and lux look to the shoes….it’s also because the shoes contain that extra something special that sets it apart from the rest. Take a look….
Here we have the Superstar 80′s TF and below that, there’s the Stan Smith 80′s TF. With the warm weather in the air, they decided to take a step outside…
But like I said, these shoes contain a little something special as indicated by the “TF” in their name. The TF stands for “Transform”. As these Adidas took further steps into the sun and realized exactly how nice it was outside, they decided to shed some of their layers, transform and use their hidden features to adjust to the sun!
The Superstar sheds it’s first tongue layer to reveal a hidden blue tongue underneath. The tongue also serves as a secret stash for extra set of laces, and a gold set of 3-stripe lace locks.
The Stan Smith was feeling sweaty as well. The little suede pull tabs in the back are linked to premium YKK zippers, that zip off the leather upper just like a jacket. Hidden underneath is a cool blue, low top Stan Smith decked out in a lightweight ripstop nylon, with a tongue that rolls down exposing the signature trefoil as well.
Unfortunately the sun started to go down as it got to those last 2 shots, but you get the point. Both of these are available in-store now, but additional photos and purchase information for the Superstar II and the Stan Smith can be found in our webshop by clicking any of the pictures above.
Enjoy!

4 commentsAir Jordan 1 KO
While it’s obvious that Air Jordan 1′s have hit the market hard over the past year, here’s a refreshing retro of a true original – the Air Jordan 1 KO. This is a holy grail for many, that for several years, many avid Jordan collectors have been pining for.
An interesting anecdote to this release: last August I attended an invitational summit meeting hosted by Air Jordan. A varied handful of representatives from top shops throughout the country met with key members of Jordan Brand’s design team and brand strategists. At this forum, we became privy to what to expect from Air Jordan for the upcoming year (2010). While new products and strategies evoked a variety of passionate responses from the attendees, one specific retro release…the Air Jordan 1 KO you see below, was a topic that received much attention. After it’s unveiling, the shoe was immediately welcomed with eager and open arms. It was then, friend and inspiration, Chris Julian of Undftd & Fruition – Las Vegas, suggested giving the shoe the vintage aesthetic that had been recently applied to special “vintage” releases of Nike Dunks, Vandals, Cortez, etc.
A few months ago when sample pictures of the shoes had surfaced (like the gorgeous photo-spread SneakerNews did here), I was thrilled to see Chris’ creative and sensible idea come to well….fruition!

3 commentsONLY NY – Daily Drop Video
This is a PSA of sorts, but I’ll make it short and sweet…just not short enough for a 140 character tweet.
We couldn’t be more happier for and proud to be rocking with ONLY NY! This is a brand that has been with Butter since the beginning. In the streetwear market overall, this is a brand that continues to see tremendous progress during a time most brands got stale or fell off completely. Our ONLY snapbacks, 5-panels, and camper hats go out to them as a great group to work with and an inspiration overall.
Check this short interview video they did with Daily Drop.

No commentsAir Jordan VI “Oreo”
The Oreo VI’s have just arrived at our door! Reminiscent of the Oreo 4′s, this colorway works effortlessly when applied to the Air Jordan VI. White speckles dashed onto the midsole, lace toggle and back pull tab make for a detail on VI’s that are unfamiliar. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about them speckles that always draw me in…

You can pick these up March 20th, but for now, all this talk about Oreo’s has got me wanting some cookies. I hope there’s some left in the store’s jumbo box…

3 comments10 Deep Spring – Never Ran, Never Will
10 Deep’s message for each season always tend to be a natural fit with Extra Butter and our ideology. Simply titled “Never Ran, Never Will”, it should be easy to understand both 10 Deep’s and Extra Butter’s attitude. By now you should be used to seeing us, and we ain’t going nowhere!!
First up is Roose rockin’ the Fearless Lightweight Nylon Bomber and the Guard Your Grill Tee. The Bomber jacket is made perfect for spring, as it has been stripped of the heavyweight fill. To add the 10 Deep touch to a classic-styled piece, the jacket features custom 10 Deep patches, screenprint and embroidery. Underneath the Jacket, Roose is giving you a lesson on basic street smarts. Learn your lesson from the mighty tenth!

Chris is wearing the Tread Lightly Crew. Decked out in patches on the sleeve, this will give those that missed out on the Dregs crew from the Holiday collection a second chance for a patch paradise piece. The back of the crewneck boasts “Proud to be a Problem” while an Ol’ X tonal applique reps the chest.

10 Deep… How do you get baseball jackets…so…right?! Bam is wearing the Snake River Canyon Tee with the Fight or Flight Baseball Jacket in a colorway that’s too easy you just can’t say no too… Black body with red ribbing, quilted gold lining, topped off with the antique snap buttons? And the chenille tiger mascot? Damn.

Jon is repping the Go Hard Tee, a bold and straight to the point statement. Cowards beware, better start walkin’.

Wait, this is a tee? 10 Deep breaks out the cut & sew for this Coat of Arms Split Tee, featuring a custom color blocked body and even a patch adorned on the left sleeve, 10 Deep is letting you know when it comes to t-shirts, they aren’t fooling around.

Once you get to know Jason, you realize he must be part cat. Wearing the Proud Problem Pullover Hood, Jay is in cat stance with a tiger on his arm and panthers on his feet. Both the statement on the front and name on the back are broadcasted by tackle twill applique. Jay’s rage is aided by his chain he’s swinging around, I’d watch out…

Along with Sujel rocking the twin sai, he also has on the 10-X Short Sleeve Shirt. A solid black pocket dominates this spring plaid to make it problem approved.

The title sums it up!

2 commentsAmongst Friends Spring 2010 Cut & Sew
A couple weeks ago, the Amongst Friends Spring tees came in (check here). Now the cut & sew has arrived, an area where the brand has stepped it up in a major way.
While we hit the driving range last time, we decided to stay indoors for a little private card game this time around. Does John Malcovich’s quotes from “Rounders” come to mind…anyone?
Here are some of the details of the AF cut & sew below:
Bernie (the stoic gamer getting his Phil Ivey on): The “Always on the Green” New Era 59/50 keeps his eyes low. Not low enough as he ends up losing out and trading in his watch as collateral. Better that, then the “Bellport” Hooded Deck Jacket, a lightweight chambray jacket, with a fancy pleated front.
Jason (cool guy in the sunglasses): Smooth as he may be in the short-sleeve “Beaumont” Half Placket Shirt, the cards didn’t fall his way. It wasn’t too long before he had to dig into his “Heritage” wallet – embossed with the AF logo and equipped with a money clip. A loser again…at least he’s got a slick jacket – the “Engineers” Blazer, a lightweight, brushed-cotton twill coat fit for Spring.
Evan (the serious player): Howard Lederer may be the “Poker Professor”, but Evan looks the part of a card shark scholar in his “Dunwood” Hooded Rugby Shirt (with clean cuff and sleeve detail). He thinks he has one-upped the competition, but the stress on his face should show that…
Alex (lucky bastard): wins the pot!! In the end Alex beat out his rival, taking the scholar to school in his “Educate” Henley Sweat shirt – a fine piece made from baby french terry. Check out the cotton shirting trim inside the collar…Alex tops the outfit (and the win) off with the “Offerings” New Era Gatsby, complete with AF logo patch and the same lining inside the henley collar, on the inside of the cap.
Russ (the dealer who knows the deal): he brought the game to us. Housing his pro-poker chips and deck inside the “Wells” Chambray Back Pack. He ran the game, now take a look at how it all went down…
