Nike Air Force 1 – Cranberry Patent?
With the recent success of this month’s earlier release of the “Black Patent” Nike Air Force 1, I’m glad a new color has popped up in the shop!
The shoe is in-sync with the same stylings as the “Black Patent” pair with patent leather being the main feature in the toe box, swoosh, eye-stay, and heel tab. The shoe also mixes in perforated leather into the upper and sports a translucent sole…all in Nike’s stock “team red” colorway. They look the our red velvet curtains you see in the background, which makes me hungry for some red velvet cake. So including “Cranberry Patent” which is what first came to mind, there are a variety of nicknames you can give this shoe…the point is – it’s dope! Another clean Air Force 1 for people to add to their collection…

6 commentsNew Vans arrivals…
I love when new Vans come in… this is the song that plays in my head when I think about throwing a pair on and running around wild…
Vampire Weekend – A-Punk from Al on Vimeo.
Check out some classics we brought in that you can’t go wrong with, including our staple Zapato Del Barco (black) that we bring in every year.

And from the “Surf” collection we got a brand new shoe called the “E-street”, a simple-styled shoe which rivals the make up of an Era or Authentic. Like all the products from the “Surf” catalog the shoe’s are made with eco-friendly materials such as the 100% recycled canvas/hemp upper featured on the “E-street”. And sure, the shoe looks on the simple and plain side, but after already given these a test ride – these shoes are super comfortable, light, and fun to run around in.

1 comment10 Deep Spring Delivery – Part 2 – Internationally Known
Yet another excellent collection from 10 Deep has arrived. The pieces are pretty much what you’ve come to expect from 10 Deep by now, but if you want to learn more about them – come through to the shop where we enjoy nothing more than to sit and chat about why we bring in the pieces we bring in. If you would rather save the chatter, than just simply have a look below to see what’s in store now!
For this photoshoot Doc, Evan, and I took a trip to one of my favorite places on Long Island, Northport Village. I try to take any opportunity I can to get myself by the water, and this little gem of Long Island happens to serve as a fine setting for the humorous, soulfully scientific, and world takeover-type conversations typically shared between the 3 of us when we get together…especially on a gorgeous day like this. While some brands are just the type that look “hot” and “cool” with kicks and what not…10 Deep produces the type of clothing that when worn, can alter your life. When you take in the quality, craft, and message, you can take yourself to the next level. Kudos to 10 Deep for inspiring us further…AGAIN!

Thanks again to Doc for showing off the 24″ pythons, his fffffffresh photo work, and for being the brother (not brotha) he is to all of us. Check his site and look out for some outtakes HERE.

6 commentsANMLHSE Event Recap and Collab Tee
There’s not much to recap. But if you came by on Friday you’d know at times it was pretty packed, and some of the matches during the Super Smash Bros. tournament got quite intense. Panda stomped me out pretty quick, but Alex did some damage with an upset victory over a different Alex of the GameStop fam.
The ANMLS came through strong, but our boy Chris (too many nicknames to list) took the championship over Peteyrilla in the end. If there was a circuit where he could enter more competitions of this nature, I’m pretty sure I’d want to carve out some time to be his manager….that boy’s goooooood! Wearing the MondoTees x L’amour Supreme shirt could also be a big help.

The screening of Fantastic Mr. Fox also went over well, with the anmls AND animals more than enjoying their time and the film. To see more photos of the event visit the ANMLHSE Blog by clicking here.

Last, but not least is the ANMLHSE x Extra Butter – “Attack of the ANMLS” tee. Interpret that however you please…we only have a few left, so if it’s something you must have come through or get on the horn.

Big buttery thanks again to ANMLHSE for a wild event!!

2 commentsNBA Playoffs Mishka Keep Watch New Era
Just in time for the NBA Playoffs, Mishka releases the NBA Playoff Edition Keep Watch New Era Fitted. As you can see, this is not like your average Keep Watch hat. This time, the iconic eyeball is made out of authentic basketball material. With the Playoff matchups set last night, this would be a good hat to wear while watching the L.A Lakers play the Oklahoma City Thunder series. I think this will be the most intriguing series in the whole playoffs. Durant Vs. Kobe… it doesn’t get better then that. Oh and by the way, these are also being released in a limited run, so come by and pick one up before they’re gone.

No commentsMore April Air Jordan releases
First we have another Air Jordan 6 exclusive to the girls. This is the 2nd sick colorway that girl’s got for the 6′s. Only sizes 4 to 7 kids…

On the men’s side, we received the Air Jordan 6 “Pistons” set to release this Saturday, April 17th. A little gleam in the patent, and speckle on the outsole never hurt nobody.

We also received a special limited edition Air Jordan 2010. Black with the “university blue” color paying homage to his days as a UNC Tarheel. For those that never got the scoop on the clear window on the upper – Michael Jordan, a former Defensive Player of the Year and 9 time All-Defensive First Team selection had a stealthy approach to his defense. MJ only let you see what he wanted you to see, forcing opponents to take certain shots or setting them up for a steal. The window is symbolic of that same defensive mantra. Check out the rest of the intricate details of the shoe, plus some fresh new Jordan socks!
Release date: Saturday, April 24th

5 commentsApril Nike ….more!
Few more for ya…
Lunar Mariah+ …I’ve been dying to try a shoe with this lunar bottom. Super fly lightweight, with a sick color combo. Time to get my run on…

Air Max 90 – these look like they’d go pretty sweet with a King James jersey…while he’s still on the Cavs!

Air Max Hyperize (POP) – to be honest I don’t even know what the (POP) indicates. Play-off pack? Anyway, I’m a fan of this snowflake-like upper and the interesting design on the tongue tag. If more info surfaces I’ll try to edit the post here. But for now, one of the most comfortable shoes to ball in is back…
