Air Jordan 9 Retro (GS)- White/Turquoise/Lemon
Jordan IX’s have been heavily used on the Jordan Brand roster as of late. With the Citrus IX’s upcoming release this weekend and more colorways to come, the fellas have a lot to look forward to. But where’s the love for the kids and women? Sure they’ve made previous colorways in smaller sizes, but there has been a lack of IX’s catered solely towards this demographic. Well look no further as we’ve just received this White/Turquoise colorway which doesn’t exceed the size of 7Y. If you’re looking for a summer colorway you’ve got it, as this IX has a primarily white body with turqouise and lemon hits throughout, sitting on top of a metallic silver midsole. Also as you can see, this IX sports mixed materials between a synthetic leather body and a patent leather mudguard running up the heel and wrapping the ankle, with a touch added to the tongue.
*only gradeschool sizing available*

3 commentsNike Air Force 1 Low Premium: All Reflective “3M”
When the Air Force 1 with the reflective Swoosh came out earlier this month, the response was overly positive and was the go-to AF1 in the shop. The use of reflective on any Nike is usually an eye-catcher, and some might have even begun to fantasize about pushing the limits beyond just a reflective Swoosh, anticipating something more this summer. Well, if that’s the case Nike has read your mind as we have just received an Air Force with an ALL reflective upper, sans-Swoosh. Other details include a nylon tongue and a black sole. Looks like Nike nailed it on the head with this Air Force Premium.

10 commentsAir Max 24-7 “Chili”
After we debuted the 24-7 in the Neon colorway, we bring you the “Chili” colorway. Being that at first glance you might think the 24-7 is a ’95 due to it’s primarily ’95-like upper, it’s only natural that Nike decides to apply these iconic ’95 colorways to the 24-7 to introduce it and keep it going strong. The Chili colorway is a favorite among many so I expect these to last just as long as the previous colorway did, which is not long at all.

No commentsAir Jordan IX “Citrus”
Releasing, Saturday July 3rd…
Summer is in full effect now with the sun coming on strong as of late. The heatwave is a good time for a cool drink and some fresh fruits. A refreshing new retro Air Jordan 9 has that feeling in mind, giving it’s blacked out upper a “citrus” color pop accent. Tasty indeed!!

3 commentsExtra Butter “Official Selections” Summer 2010 Lookbook
“Here it is the groove, slightly transformed. Just a bit of break from the norm”…
Summer, summer, summertime indeed! With summer collections hitting the shop around the same time, we decided to get the gang together for yet another little lookbook/photoshoot. This time around we picked “Official Selections” from the new 10 Deep, Amongst Friends, Mishka, and Only NY summer collections, and spent a typical Extra Butter day enjoying the weather in the new gear, and playing around with the camera of course.
Click here or the photo below to take a look at the entire lookbook.
The photos were done by our very own, and newly graduated, Alex. I just want to take the time to congratulate young Alex on his elementary High School graduation, and even more so for his acceptance into F.I.T.! There was never any doubt of that though was there. I mean, have you seen his portfolio!?!? Other young selvage cats are simply not on his level…Now if only we could close up the shop to bombard you with cheers and jeers at your graduation ceremony Friday, CONGRATS, jerk! And sincere thanks as always to everyone who helped out!

1 commentAir Jordan for July – Grown V.2, AJ 1, and Hydro sandals!
Following the success of the Jordan Campus Chukka, this summer sees an update called the Grown V.2. With many Jordan collectors getting older, we see the brand taking things in a mature direction with the “BIN 23″ collection and releases like the Grown V.2.
While it’s not the athletic on-court sneaker most people tend to identify Brand Jordan with, many people have welcome this added direction from the brand. It has also garnered the attention of non-Jordan buyers for producing a product that they can now relate to.

The classic Air Jordan 1 is back to in a “spice” colorway that’s quick to brighten up your summer. This colorway in particular really captures the original collegiate Nike Dunk colorways that first dropped and began the style’s legacy.

We also got 2 new Hydro sandals in, which are a favorite here for the beach and summer weather. The details of one of them should give you a hint as to what’s coming up next…

3 commentsJuly Nike Delivery Part 1
Starting first with the Air Max 1 “Omega Pack” – you can see the Greek lettering representing Nike’s “Athletics West” are nice little accents with the navy/red colorway. It’s not too late to pick up this pair and a USA soccer jersey for their must-win match vs. Algeria on Wednesday…

We got a grip of new dunks as well…colors you can’t go wrong in. Like this New York-like orange and blue. Suede and pebbled leather never hurt nobody either!

We also got a clean white dunk low with a “purple punch”colored bottom. The emerald/teal colorway on the tongue tag ties this all together like the famous Jordan 5 “grape” colorway.

And this is my favorite of the lows…a can’t miss colorway with a nice subtle color touch on the tongue tag.

In the hightop department we got an “urban haze” colorway with some yellow color accents. This shoe gets a special treatment with suede and pebbled leather materials on the upper.

Last, we brought in the All Court (VNTG), which gets a small hint of “vintage” treatment to the mid-sole. Had to give these a shot on my feet, since I was feeling the crispy white canvas. Definitely a smooth look…

3 commentsBBQ BASH at Longhorns, RVC – RECAP!
Last week, along with Milk & Honey we co-hosted a little BBQ BASH party at Longhorns – our favorite Bbq saloon/restaurant. Word on the street is, that while it was the first, it won’t be the last…but since you missed out when you shouldn’t have…SuperDoc Munz came through to rescue you with some pics for your viewing pleasure.
See, there he is now. Mr. Munz himself, cold chillin’ with our lady friends from CW Post. He’ll be the first to tell you (along with our whole crew here), but he STAYS in an ONLY NY snapback (more coming soon by the way!). Caitlin looks like she’s grabbing his shirt or something, which was a favorite that night – “Rappers Lie, Emcee’s Don’t”.

Did I tell you D’s my favorite photographer?? Well I’m telling you now…look, he even catches me looking like I’m on some official shit. But really, a nickname I’d joke around with in college is DJ Pushbutton…basically, I’m not doing all that much. But I made it work! By the way…that’s a new shirt from the Mishka Summer collection (perhaps my favorite ever), you should come through and check the rest before it’s gone.

LOOK! I even got these folks to dance…or did I? Was it the Metronomy and Hot Chip I was playing, or was it DJ Tezo, bumping all sorts of hip-hop. He took it back, forward, left, right…

I take away the credit I gave myself for making the party people party, and slide it to this man…DJ TEZO! Gangsta t-shirt, he is a With Cheese Please cheesesteak murderer.

Munz just makes us look good. Check out our own Roose helping someone out with a light. The guy could be a friend, he could be a stranger…it don’t matter, Roose is for the people.

Christina looks like she could also be a good Samaritan, giving someone directions. But that’s not a someone, that’s Elizabeth also from Milk & Honey, and they’re most likely talking about their plans to take over the world. Milk & Honey is doing it…trust us. Oh and shouts to Eileen and Sycko in the back creepin’!

Visit the ANYAKNODIZ site for the rest of D’s photos… and thanks to everyone else who came through and the Longhorns staff for being awesome all night!!
