June Vans arrivals – California, Classics, and Surf collections

New Vans arrived before the weekend, and we received offerings from 3 different divisions from Vans. While they’re housed under different accounts, make no mistake about it…they’re all awesome and well suited for the summer.

Starting with the “Classics”, there are 2 new Authentics made with eco-friendly, organic hemp. The color story here is a simple one…black with brown, brown with black. Both pairs pull the hemp material and colorways together in a way that gives the Authentic a new high class look.

While “California” may be a newer division to the Vans roster, they have failed to disappoint. Both pairs come with “ortho-lite” insoles, giving the shoes extra cushioning for the ride. The Authentic One Piece in the “agate gray” color give the shoe a summery linen look. Combined with a one-piece upper, again we have a shoe that compliments any classy look.

We also received the Era Reissue, a shoe Vans California decided to bring back in it’s original form and shape. White with gold accents…do I even have to say more?! Actually, I do…perforated leather, used correctly! Gorgeous shoe…

Last, but not least – 2 new styles from Vans Surf. If you’ve been paying attention to the Extra Butter blog on SneakerNews, you would have already seen that I’m really feeling these. I’ve worn both pairs already, and couldn’t be more satisfied.

The SRPLS is a new lightweight shoe with a wider construction and typical eco-friendly and comfortable make-up we’ve learned to expect from the Vans Surf products. This particular model is in a basic, classic camo-print, on ripstop material. One of the most exciting new shoes to drop for the summer.

We also brought in a new colorway of the E-street, which has become an EB clientele fave. This time, the shoe gets a special edition treatment featuring design work from psychedelic art king, Rick Griffin. Known for his famous work for The Grateful Dead, Rick Griffin’s trippy design style and character give the E-street a highly distinct look that couldn’t be more perfect for the summertime.
