The strong roll of Vans California releases for the holiday season continue to come in. We can never get enough of the Switchback here. This particular one comes in a grey wool fleck, brown leather laces, and is already a favorite here. The Switchback’s magic is that while it holds an outdoor-feel to it, the premium materials and treatment give the shoe a dressy flavor that can be used for special occasions as well.

As part of the “Hiker” pack, the Mid Skool ’77 gives a classic Vans model a hiking boot look and feel with it’s metal D-ring lacing system, and earthy colorway. The wilderness is just waiting for you to visit rocking these…

Do you not own a pair of these? If you don’t you’re missing out. If you’re a Jordan head….what is WRONG with you?! I know most people (like myself) don’t wear sandals…but occasionally at the beach, lazy days, or even some grimy shower situation a sandal is necessary. The Jordan Hydro VI is as comfy as it gets, and I can’t front…I like how they look with socks.

This particular Jordan Hydro comes decked out in the design aesthetic of the Flint Grey 13′s. Incredible! It may not be your typical warm weather sandal season right now…but to pass on these would be a mistake.

That’s right! So as one of our favorite holidays approaches you knew that we would have something up our sleeves. This Friday we’ll be showing a Surprise Double Header of two of out favorite fright flicks in order to set the perfect tone for this weekend. Which movie’s are we watching? Well that would ruin the surprise! So the only way to find out is to grab your masks or punch some eye holes in those bedsheets and be at Extra Butter 9pm sharp.

Personally ever since last weeks movie night trip to see Paranormal Activities 2 I’ve been putting my night light to heavy use. But if you missed out on that, no sweat! We’ll definitely give you something to wet you pants with this Friday night!

The shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan 1 is back, but wait….not exactly. The Air Jordan 1′s legendary silhouette underwent an “anodized” treatment which gives the upper a look and feel most commonly seen on Nike’s Air Foamposites. The anodization process gives the Jordan 1 the illusion that it’s been dipped in some liquid metal, making for an material that’s lightweight and more wear resistant.

They come out of the gate in 2 strong colorways, metallic silver and varsity red (which looks more like a “cranberry” colorway). Both shoes have clear ice bottoms and the silver pairs features a quilted mesh collar lining.

On a day like today – new Nikes arriving at the shop will always make the day a little brighter.

But, we know there will be plenty of dreary days like today, but you could cover yourself with these – The Air Zoom Tallac Lite. Another gem from the ACG line…a little cool grey and hot lime never hurt anyone either!

We also got in a nice new Dunk High. This one mixes dark grey with a nice burgundy (garnet) fabric upper. The white outsole is what makes it for me…

For girls we got in a new Blazer High. A buffalo check plaid in pink and black…easy

Last we have an Air Max 1 Premium many have been waiting for. It appears an AM 1 in it’s basic and classic white/grey for, but a horse hair swoosh and full crepe sole bottom take this staple to a whole new level. There’s no way these get slept on…

The latest batch of TOMS has arrived! More and more people are taking part in TOMS’ “one-for-one” program by purchasing a pair, and when new styles that feature a nice selection of premium material come, it makes it even easier to partake.

The Cordone gets done up in a brown wax twill that we saw on the Botas a few months ago…

The Botas for this season is covered in a light grey wool fleck. The interior is lined with sherpa for warmth and comfort.

We also received 3 Classic Slip-Ons…a vegan-friendly “earthwise” slate-color, a cinnamon brown corduroy, and a rich black burlap.

We’re excited to bring you 3 new Adidas for the Holiday delivery…

The Hike Boot is a new model from Adidas, with a old-school look to it. It’s definitely on the lightweight side, and the 3m reflective accents along the side are a plus. Once that weather hits, I’m pretty sure I’ll find myself in a pair of these.

We already explained that we’re big fans of this shoe. Unique, stylish, and comfortable. This time the Fortitude Mid gets a mean colorway of black with bloody red and burgundy accents. These look too good on the foot.

Last is the Nizza Hi sporting a strong and clean olive upper. We’re all feeling the simplistic military look of these…should have no problem going with any outfit.

Ahhh…another pair of fine Vans craftsmanship. The Era 45 CA…smooth “tortoise shell” colored leather on the toe with a dark “total eclipse” tumbled leather on the upper. So fresh, L’amour Supreme was in here cursing up a storm about how nice they are, haha!

A few week’s ago we received the Air Moc and the Lunar Elite Trail Mid from the “Climber’s Pack” quickstrike release. The third shoe from the pack has arrived – the Air Footscape Motion. While every single shoe in this pack is comfortable, this one might take the cake. If you’ve tried a Air Footscape Motion I suggestyou do so right away. The flywire on the upper wraps a soft fitting mesh/neoprene, keeping the weight of this shoe next to nothing. The speckled midsole…perfect!
