Girls AJF4 Cool Grey/Daybreak
The Air Jordan Fusion 4 for girls came in the other day and is looking rather sweet. Featuring a color similar to the Vashtie Jordan 2′s (We all know how incredibly well those did!) these are a sure shot.

21 commentsAir Jordan – Letterman and Leather Jacket
Jordan Brand never disappoints come holiday time, but this year along with the plethora of highly anticipated releases, there are a few apparel pieces that Jordan Brand nailed 100%.
First – the All World Letterman Jacket. This piece is breathtaking. A letterman jacket done perfectly. Black and red, buttery tumbled leather, smooth satin interior, blank back, and jumpman logo chest hit. It doesn’t get more classic than this.

This Jordan Marquee tee is what’s up as well. New J’s dropin’ soon huh…that’s not all that’s ————– (sorry, silenced for now)

Now this threw us for a loop. Jordan Brand also did a leather jacket. Not just any leather jacket, this flawless piece you see below. I mean really…I’m not a leather jacket fan, but this is styled and crafted to perfection. Who would this not sharpen up?? Oh, and it’s as comfortable as can be.

If you follow our twitter, you know I’ve been sweating this shirt for a minute. It’s straight-throwback. The Moon is cement print and made of reflective material. The stars are all glow in the dark, which caught me by surprise when I was wearing it, but made it 10x better.

No commentsAir Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 Quickstrikes
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Read that the way you’d make a sound after biting into something tasty!
I am feeling these. The Air Jordan CMFT series has borrowed a bit from it’s sister/brother company at Nike by using the air cushion units we’ve become so familiar seeing in the famed Air Max range. The latest CMFT (comfort) releases come in a quickstrike pack of 3 and feature an air bag most similar to the Air Max 97, while incorporating some design elements of the Air Jordan 12.

The first color has reflective “3m” accents on the mudguard and tongue tag. Hot red color flows in the air bag, making this release a sort of homage to the original Air Max 97 colorway. Nice touch with the subtle speckle if I might add.

Then there’s this color – which is just mean! Comfy black mesh with a metallic silver mudguard that has a reptile skin-like finish to it.
The last resembles a favorite pair of 12′s many are familiar with already. The university blue accents and perforated butter leather drive the point home. Can’t miss with this combination.

4 commentsWu-Tang x Rocksmith Capsule Collection
My first thought when beginning to blog this incredible capsule collection was “oooh I’m going to go in with all the Wu-Tang lyrics” and just do it that way, but no. There’s just too many. There is not a team in existence to have the type of impact on the game the way the WU has. The hip-hop enthusiasts over at Rocksmith (mega-kudos to them and our homie there – THE Michael David) put together this jaw-droppingly, raw capsule collection featuring the witty, unpredictable, talented….you get it…the Wu-Tang Clan!!
Getting to it – the first tee is the Roll Call. This style tee has been done numerous times before, but read off the order of this one, and you’ll find yourself doing your best gritty voice impersonation of Mr. Meth. In fact, the exact way this shirt reads are the very first words of WU I ever heard. All I have to say is – youngins without a delorean, do everything you can to go back and experience the Wu from the beginning.

Ahh…is this not one of the hardest hoodies you’ve ever seen?! Badass black and yellow, cash-rules-everything-around-me. One of the endless classic Wu-tracks…this is actually the 2nd song I heard after the words of the one above, and again one of the illest hoodies I’ve ever seen…everrrr!

Ahh yes! The album both M.E.T.H.O.D. Man and C.R.E.AM. were on. That imagery was seen on the Enter the Wu-tang (36 Chambers) album cover, and in some of the music videos. Bring da !%^#$%!^ ruckus!!

The Purple Tape. Do I even have to write anymore? Solo work at it’s best, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx elevated Raekwon into legendary status quickly, and also cemented the dynamic duo partnership he had with fellow wu-member, Ghostface Killah.

Tony Starks, Pretty Tony, Iron man….a murderous tribute to Ghostface Killah.

Who remembers the anticipation of the Wu-Tang Forever release? It was double-disc, one of which had a game you could play on your PC, and it was the first time everyone from the Wu would come back together for a full album after 4 years of solo albums and cameos. I remember going to Tower Records (r.i.p.) at midnight the night of the release to cop. This feeling just does not exist anymore….sad. Before the album finally dropped the lead single off the album was for Triumph, a song that when started up and that bass begins to hit, still sends me the energy in me into a chaotic and frenzied state. Inspectah Deck starts the posse cut verse’s off with the unforgettable lyrics now available on this t-shirt.

Thank you so much to Rocksmith and the Wu! While the state of hip-hop continues to be in shambles as far as I’m concerned, I’ll always be able to turn it back and rock with the WU!
P.S. – anyone still have some old Wu-wear from back in the day? I might be able to dig up a piece or two, but were these guys pioneers or what??

No commentsVans x MadeMe Collection: Camryn Plus & Wellesley Plus
Just in is this special sneaker collaboration solely for the ladies! It’s no new thing for Vans to treat the girls with some female-only collaborations, showing the proper recognition to the girls who get heated over the mens-only releases. This time around Vans teams up with womens clothing label MadeMe to deliver two styles: the Camryn Plus & Wellesley Plus. Taking on a primarily blacked-out approach, MadeMe applies their style to create two powerful sillhouettes taking on a bold eighties aesthetic. With the overpowering cross cut-out applied on the Camryn and an option of contrast red laces, these fit right in with the erratic 80′s fashion consensus – reciprocating the “Life is a Mystery” tagline used on the totebag (included!) and inner label of the sneakers.

1 commentAdidas Roundhouse and Samba
2 new Adidas came in over the weekend….
The first is a new model, the Roundhouse. A brand new silhouette with a futuristic look and lightweight feel.
The Samba has been around for a minute, or at least during my days of playing indoor soccer as a little one. This new earthy colorway is nice for the darker days ahead.
