Last week was Alex’s birthday, so if you didn’t even give him one of those measley “happy b-day” wishes on facebook, you should be ashamed of yourself! Alex is not only the prototype as far as team members go, but we’re talking about the coolest kid around, and a man of many different nicknames. Notice I said “man”, because young Alex really turned 18…which means ladies, he’s now legal. And in college. And speaks Japanese fluently and is a master of several different dance styles, no lie!

We headed to “Famous Dave’s BBQ”, because that’s where Alex wanted to eat, and in case you didn’t know – what baby Alex wants, baby Alex gets!

I think Alex chose this place for a few reasons. He’s a sucker for BBQ sauce, he wanted to make sure we waited like 17 hours while we starved, and the Pendleton seat covers…

Look at Famous Dave’s all up on the trends…somewhere, some small start-up streetwear brand (i just wanted to OD on alliteration) is calling this so-called “Famous” Dave a biter for having this up on their wall, when surely their tee or crewneck came out at least like, 2 hours prior. C’mon Dave…

This large crowd made me comfortable which is a rare feat. Why? Because they were mostly filipino and it mademe feel at home, plus they were toasting to some other Sagittarius’ birthday which added to the Super Sag’ birthday celebration warmness in the air.

Summer 2011 – EB x Canoe Trip!

The sauce assortment. The little taste test we did for all these flavors was a highlight. Ask Bam about that Devil’s spit and the after effects…might want to ask him about the use (and benefit) of pineapple as a key ingredient in these sauces.

So now it’s birthday sing-song time, something Russ was for some reason eagerly anticipating all night. When this joyous moment finally arrived and we were singing the tune with all the glee possible for Alex’s big day…he appeared like he was about to cry. Not just any regular cry, but one most similar to the “Best Cry Ever” video we posted a few days ago below.

ScooP’s on some “ohhh yeah, it just went down! BBQ son, crispy onions on the sandwich, we just killed these yum yums!” – his patented 2 hand pseudo-roof raise dance followed.

And speaking of dancing, I caught this on the way out. All I can say is a “double dream hands” inspired EB line dance is coming soon!

In my opinion, the best color of 1/2 Cents to come out. “Cranberry” foam just looks too good on this shoe…

Unfortunately, this is not additional footage of the event…but this should make you laugh. One thing about me, is that I’m terribly late to the game as far as hysterical things seen on YouTube. I don’t watch much on TV aside from sports and Dexter, let alone the computer. But lately, I’m realizing I’m missing out on a lot.

With more videos on the blog as of late, I figured I’d share a few that were shared with me that I haven’t been able to stop laughing at. So not sure if I’ll ever do another post like this again, but regardless…here’s 5 recent, highly entertaining, and possibly stuff you’ve already seen because I’m late, videos…

The first is this…you’ve probably seen the original by now, I’m assuming it’s a classic. But we recently found this “aftermath” video, and have been speaking to each other in similar fashion around the shop.

This one was e-mailed to me. Had to watch this a few times as well…as the :25 second mark, is she saying “butter”??

Then there’s this, which at first I just thought was a little odd, and a bit sad. But, overall I was perplexed at this type of reaction. Just never seen something like it…

But then I saw this version of the video above. Nearly died watching this over and over.

And finally we have Maru. This fat cat with so many quirks and so much personality, I could honestly say I’d like to have Maru or something similar for myself. My friends know me as someone who’s notorious for despising cats. I say awful things like “they’re the devils pets” and all this stuff, but Maru changed my mind. Enjoy!

That’s right we’ve got something special for all of our ever nostalgic 90′s basketball fans. We know that there are two things that will forever miss dearly from the 90′s, one is the hand-check and the other are over the top basketball sneakers rocked by our favorite NBA players. Now even throw I doubt you’ll  be able to see an old school Joe Dumars stiff arm we do have two of our favorite retro basketball kicks.

With the huge oversized “Air” covering the upper of the Nike Air More Uptempo these were definitely one of the most memorable Nike basketball sneakers every released. Which made it a suitable shoe for one of the 50 greatest NBA player’s of all time, Scottie Pippen. Before the release of Pippen’s signature series Scottie was seen slammin’ & jammin’in the Air More Uptempos, putting that full-length Air Max bubble to work.

And then we have the shoe sported by Sir Charles himself, the Nike Air Max CB34. As opposed to the more modern CB34 Glass Blue colorway, these Black/Club Purple with Orange accented Air Maxes pay homage to the Phoenix Suns where Barkley spent years boxing out and cleaning up the glass.
