Okay let’s put a pause on the retro’s for a second. We know you all have nice collections full of them and such, but Jordan Brand is also responsible for putting out non-retro’s that in my opinion, are dope as !@#*.

This is not an extra plug for whatever reason, the Jordan V.2 Grown’s that we’ve brought in over the past year have all been solid as they cater to that “grown man” swag…look that is going on these days. But, to take the already sophisticated V.2 Grown and give it an all black patent leather upper…too, too smooth!!

You guys go on dates right? Maybe dinner with the parents? Wedding season coming up…this is the shoe, trust.

If you weren’t aware, this is the Year of the Rabbit! And with Michael Jordan’s birthday being yesterday, added to the recent unveiling of the latest shoe in his legacy – the Air Jordan 2011, it should be no surprise that there is a Year of the Rabbit version of the Air Jordan 2011 as well. Not to mention, Michael himself is considered a rabbit in Chinese Astrology, which makes a lot of sense if you think back to his classic campaigns with Bugs Bunny, the “Hare” 7′s, and other rabbit design references throughout the Jordan brand catalog.

The shoe features all the bells and whistles that were noted in our post here a few days ago. But, also featured is a custom box featuring artwork that pays homage to Air Jordan and the Year of the Rabbit theme.

And lucky as a rabbit foot we are, a cute little bunny rabbit hopped along to take a peek at her rabbit friends in the form of the Jordan 2011!

We noticed the gorgeous thumbprint outsole was speckled in metallic gold, which caught the bunny’s attention and brought her back for a closer look.

Well informed of the shoe’s 2 in-sole options, the bunny had to decide whether she wanted her feet to be quick or responsive.

Decisions, decisions…!?

She’ll likely interchange them depending on her need, but overall is thrilled with this extremely limited edition of the Air Jordan 2011 Year of the Rabbit.

Maybe you’ll have the good luck of the bunny above and score yourself a pair tomorrow morning as we’ll have a very limited amount releasing when we open at 11am…

The Adidas x Star Wars collection is back and again achieve a wonderful marriage between original Adidas footwear with elements from the Star Wars movie legacy.

The Adidas Eldorado gets taken over by the “Imperial AT-AT” design features, you remember that intimidatingly slow moving machine with the long legs right?! Most notable are the AT-AT (All-terrain armored transport) driver’s helmet that sits atop the tongue as a velcro patch. Underneath lies the classic Adidas trefoil logo.

We also received the Adidas Skyline which gets the “Coruscant” treatment, which depicts the sinister city skyline that dark lord Darth Vader ruled. A must have for collectors, but also simply a sneaker that looks incredible adding an evil and powerful accent to any outfit.

We just got in some dope new colorways for a couple of our favorite Nike silhouettes. Nike ACG has been on a roll and as usual they hit us over the head with yet another one of their off of the wall color schemes. So with the success of our January ACG drop we made sure to get in the latest Pecan and Wineberry color for the Nike Lunar Macleay.

Coming straight out of the ‘Be True to Your Street’ which is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the iconic Nike Dunk, we’ve got the White and Black Dunk High. These, like most of the BTTYS Dunks, coming equipped with an embossed polka dot pattern found on the side panel of the shoe. The usage of the embossed polka dot pattern varies through the BTTYS pack, that accompanied by the tumbled White leather upper and the Black suede toebox are just a few of the nice details that accentuate an already great looking shoe.

Ok… I know I know,  this isn’t breaking news at this point, but I could no longer contain my excitement. Now if you haven’t guessed by the stocked WWF Wrestle Fest arcade game found in our Showroom or by the bundles of classic Wrestling Action Figures that we’ve got strategically sprinkled throughout the store me and the guys at Butter are fans of the World Wrestling Federation. That’s right, the good old WWF and before they traded in that “F” for the “E”, like most, I was a huge wrestling fan.

With that said, when it comes to wrestling the person that will always be at the top of my list would have to be the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, the Rock. And with that being known it’s no wonder that after Monday night Raw when the Rock made the announcement that he’ll be returning as the host of Wrestlemania XXVII my phone turned into a hot-line. Now if you happened to be busy with your Valentine boo/forgot to set your DVR that night you can check out went down when the Rock Returned to Raw on Youtube. Personally I’m a little hyped to have the big fella back, which means that I’ll definitely be coughing up that $44.95 for this year’s Wrestlemania.

But if you’re not like me and decided not to work tirelessly on your People’s Elbow formation, or try to get reservations to the Smack Down Hotel, or even one day aspire to owning a $500 shirt, then you might need to get a little refresher on what made the Rock coolest jabroni beating mofo around. 2011 is here! Which in turn means that the Air Jordan 2011 are here as well, if you haven’t already guessed that from our little teaser that is. It would seem that every year Jordan brand’s goals are to consistently innovate with every shoe they make both with style and functionality, and they might have succeeded with the 2011. Last Fall a few pics leaked of the 2011 and I know that initial impression made might not have been the best for those super traditional Jordan-heads (like myself) but I must say that after getting a good look at these I am thoroughly impressed by the time, effort and execution of these sneakers.

RELEASING: Saturday, February 19th 2011

The Air Jordan 2011 is the first basketball sneaker to ever include the patina leather. The upper of the shoe is wrapped with one piece of a hand crafted Patina leather that comes embossed with a modified Elephant print which is sure to wear in with it’s own unique fades and finishes over time. The abstract Elephant print seem a little reminiscent of  tribal war paint which is a consistent with the “Warrior’s Mentality” inspirations guided the sneakers look and functional elements.

Following with the “Warrior” concept that initially sparked the theme of sneaker Jordan asks the wearers of the sneakers to “Choose Your Weapon” with the choice of 2 uniquely different midsoles. The first of the 2 is the “Quick” (Blue) midsoles which is equipped with zoom forefoot and heel air bags for a lightweight and super responsive step. While the “Explosive” (Red) midsoles which comes with a 3/4 air bag bedding that makes for a super cushioned for a more explosive step.

As Jordan brand continues to push the envelope with sneaker technology and trends they also make sure to consistently push their own staple designs. It might seem like a small touch but one of my favorite parts of the Jordan 2011 would have to be the 3 dimensional Jumpman logo that is found at the tongue of the right shoe and the rear of both shoes. I’ve always been a sucker for detail and these shoes seems to be flooded with them. But I’ll let you find out for yourselves.

The latest colorway to drop in the Air Jordan 13′s is a primarily White and Stealth Grey with accents of the shocking Spark pink color hits made especially for the girls this Spring. These seem to be a lighter-brighter take on the Voltage Cherry colorway that released a months ago during the December/Holiday season drops. Personally I love them both and they make for a lovely 1-2 punch in any girl’s closet. We’ve got these available right now in (GS) grade school sizing
