The Spring 2011 collection from Amongst Friends offers some staple spring wears for your wardrobe. For starters – a light spring jacket is a must. Amongst Friends brings us the “Deck Jacket” which you can see below in both a navy and khaki colorway. Classic silhouette with a linen lined hood and diamond AF branding on the chest. And below the jacket? A not so ordinary button down. This mixed oxford shirt gives you enough contrast while still maintaining a casual look. Lastly, the long sleeved striped shirt was the top pick for many. Just got our April delivery of Air Jordans and they are looking warm weather ready. We got some new Mishka Exclusives in that my be perfect for those of us that are fueled by caffeine. Those of of that need that fix of coffee in the morning, and sometimes noon and night. Those of us that knock back those first two cups of are and are ready to wreak havoc all over… on their commute to work that is.

This New Era Cap and T-Shirt drop might hit the heart’s of New Yorkers in particular, those who might remember the old school diner/Greek coffee cups that might of been the inspiration behind many of an all-nighter.

The Bo Jackson legacy continues with the retro release of the Air Trainer SC II. This 3/4 cut legend arrived in a white/grey/citron colorway that closely resembles the original neon Air Max ’95 colorway. If the color and “technovative” (techy and innovative) design wasn’t enough then how about this….

Imagine the likes of Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson piling up rushing yards, running linebackers over and when the season’s over he’s got the ability to switch over to baseball to play left field, hit some home runs and steal bases like the Milwaukee Brewer’s Ryan Braun. Last Wednesday Karin went to the Kid Cudi show at the Roseland Ballroom, NYC. Lucky for us, she took some photos and share with us below. I imagine this was a pretty rad show, and I’m feeling the “Chip Tha Ripper” graphic – I will have to give him a listen as Karin said he was quite good.

What Karin doesn’t know is Cudi used to be on heavy rotation over here. In particularly “Maui Wowie”, which was the soundtrack to many a red carpet runway catwalks…I sort of miss that – should it make a comeback?? Anyway, peep the photos below – let us know if you were there too…

The Nike Toki Premium Pecan/Summit White dropped in a couple of weeks ago and they are probably one of my favorite Toki colorways to date. However I feel like Nike might of made a mistake, these should have been called the Butter Pecan’s, not because the color schemes match better but because of the buttery soft leather used in the upper. You might to feel it to see exactly what I’m talking about but by the looks of it the leather on these shoes should break in very well. Think of a nice pair of tan hard bottom shoes, or a nice vintage leather belt, or that old wallet that your dad’s been holding on to for way too long but he never gets rid of it for sentimental reasons… That’s the kind of leather I’m talking.

After having 4 signature sneakers with Converse in the beginning of his career, Dwyane Wade later became the poster child for Jordan Brand’s Team Jordan. And after a few years of putting up MVP-esque stats while sporting the Jordan Signature 2010 and 2011′s D-Wade is finally receiving his own Signature Series with Jordan Brand, The Air Jordan Fly Wade.

As foreshadowed in the campaign for the Air Jordan 2011, Dwyane Wade’s alter ego Agent D3 is the inspiration behind the “D3″ target logo found on on the tongue of the Fly Wade’s.

As D-Wade was seen rocking the Air Jordan 2011′s throughout the regular season it’s no surprise that many of the 2011′s influences can be found in the Fly Wade. One of them being the 3-dimensional Jumpman logo found on the securely snug fitting heel cap of the shoe.

Along with the new Elephant crackle pattern outsole that provides a superior grip on the hardwood the Fly Wade’s take a blast from the past by being one of the few Signature Jordan’s since the AJ6 to expose the Air Max unit. Originally released at Japan’s SOPH – the Nike Blazer Mid AB TZ tier zero release has made it’s way to the states, and we got them for you!

Bringing some innovation to the table, Nike refined the already classic Blazer-silhouette with some new features creating a modern day marvel.The Blazer Mid AB TZ features a new enforced rubberized toe cap reminiscent of the Nike All Court. The swoosh disappears on both sides of the sneaker, but the medial now features a sweet zipper adding class and convenience when it comes to getting the shoe on and off. The Blazer Mid AB TZ is available in navy, white, or black with the option of leather or canvas.

With the obvious versatile look of the shoe, it lead me to try them on with a variety of bottoms – some khakis and camos for the leather versions, and with the canvas models coming out of the Nike Sportswear line, I decided to pair them with some shorts to show a more athletic look. These can all easily be dressed up or down, but either way they instantly add a unique touch of class to your ensemble.
