Now-a-days not very many people would refer to Ken Griffey as “The Kid”, mostly because he’s 41 years old. But in hit heavy hitting days during the mid-90′s “The Kid” was knocking them out of every major park and all while sporting the Nike Air Griffey Max’s. These sneakers ruled to diamond during the 90′s and recently the Nike Air Griffey Max II was released in the Black and Fresh Water colorway, a classic color scheme that pays homage to Griffey’s day with the Seattle Mariners.

And speaking of 90′s iconic sneakers, we also just got in the latest Wolf Grey and Varsity Red colorway for the Nike Air Max CB34. A new choice of hues for the signature sneaker of Sir Charles Barkley himself which generally kept a mostly Black and White color scheme. But this lighter brighter Grey and Red colorway should suit you well for when you’re aggressively crashing boards… or just going for a stroll this Spring.

The first thing that I’m gonna need you to do is put your “W’s” up! Why? Because we just got in our Spring delivery of the Wu-Tang Collection brought to you by the guys over at Rocksmith. With the success of the last Wu-Tang drop the Rocksmith team decided to push down on the gas and go all out with this Spring collection.

We made sure to grab up all of the sick new styles and even re-up on all of those pieces that we knew that you were dying for. This Spring collection made sure to cover even more bases by repping even more members of the Wu such as Gza, the Genius T-shirt and Rza aka Bobby Digital’s Mask T-shirt.

And for all who’ve realized that cash rules everything around them we got in an assortment of C.R.E.A.M snapbacks and hoodies in Black and Grey and the tradional Wu-Tang Black and Yellow (Black and Yellow).

For all of you Chef fans who missed out on the Purple Tape t-shirt we made it a point to re-up on those and also snag up some Purple Tape crewnecks that shows the actual tape for the Raekwon album “Only Built For Cuban Linx…”

One of my favorite pieces in this whole collection would have to be the Wu-Tang, “Wu-Beach” crewneck which doesn’t need much of an introduction for any of you P-O-L-O heads. The crewneck features a Ralph Lauren Polo-esque teddy sporty a Wu-Tang modified version of the coveted “Snow Beach” jacket (which is also known as “the Raekwon” since Raekwon sported it in the Can It All Be So Simple Video). Classic.

The Air Jordan 7 Retro Bordeaux (bawr-doh) is here! The Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux has been in hibernation since it’s original release in 1992, and with an almost 20 year hiatus there’s no wonder why these are one of the most highly anticipated releases for 2011. In other words, don’t miss out on these. The hype is at an all time high and we will be releasing these in store today, April 16th during regular store hours.

As Michael Jordan was busy changing the game on the court he also made it a point to progressively change the game of sneakers with every Air Jordan. Michael would always incorporated his travels and experiences into sneakers like the Air Jordan 3′s which used worldly influences such as Elephant print accents throughout the shoe. The same mindset was used for the Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux, which gets it’s name from the rich Bordeaux wine colored tongue and accents found throughout the shoe which was went meant to give the sneakers a touch of elegance.

The Retro Bordeaux’s seem to be in pristine condition, matching up superbly to the 1992 originals. But to make sure that they did our Butter familia member BAM la Roc brought in his 1992 OG’s to bring a little extra nostalgia to this Saturday’s release. I love when sneakers get really worn in, kind of like your favorite pair of jeans, and as you can see the Bordeaux’s have aged like a fine glass of wine… Of course.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro’s have just dropped in a new White, Crimson, and Neutral Grey colorway made especially with the girls in mind for this Spring. The lightly toned mostly neutral upper gets a shock of color with the Crimson hits found on the Jumpman, inner liner and eyelets of the sneaker.

And as always they have all of the fixings that still make it an Air Jordan 3, with the combination of perforated, tumbled and smooth leathers that make up the upper and the signature Elephant print accents found on the toes and heels of the shoe.

But my favorite part of the shoe would have to be the (secondary) tricked out Rainbow laces that seem to give these shoes that eye popping new look, perfect for the Spring time.

Back in 1992 a lot of things were a lot of things happening. That Summer the Olympic games where held in Barcelona, Spain and the armada known as the Dream Team ran through their opponents like they were a pick-up squad at the YMCA. And around that same time that year the first overall pick of the NBA draft went to the Orlando Magic who wisely scooped up Shaquille O’Neal and also teen sensation Miley Cyrus was born, which I think would make her legal now.

But before all of those events took place the a little earlier in the year during the NBA All-Star game Micheal Jordan debuted the Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux”. The unorthodox combination of the Black, Light Graphite, and Bordeaux (wine) colorway took everyone by storm when these first dropped. And since Air Jordan have had these sneakers on ice for about 19  years now these have become some of the most coveted Jordan’s ever.

But fear not guys and gals because this Saturday we will be releasing the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” for all of you who’ve been itching to get your hands a crispy fresh pair of these this year. Now it wont come in the cool looking retro-style Nike Air/Air Jordan speckled Black/White box, but I’m sure that won’t deter too many of you.

My Pet Monsters that is… We just got in yet another must have knick-knack that’s brought to you by our buddies at Mishka. Since everyone ate up the last Keep Watch New Era Keychains drop the guys at Mishka decided to flip one of their most iconic fitted caps, the “My Pet Monster” Keep Watch, into a New Era Fitted Keychain.

Back in 2008 Mishka released one of their popular Keep Watch New Era caps that was themed after the cult classic 1980′s TV and plush toy My Pet Monster. This quickly became one of my favorite Keep Watches and a top seller for the brand. But since that cap is long gone by now Mishka has re-released the eye catching colorway in a pocket monster sized keychain.

And for all you kiddies that might be a little too young to fully enjoy all of the nostalgic 1980′s Toys-to-TV Show marketing ploys you can just check out the video below to see what inspired the cap.

This weekend we just got in 3 of the latest drops from Air Jordan, and these are sure to treat sweet tooth of yours. The latest in the Air Jordan Quickstrike drop are apart of the Air Jordan CMFT series. The Air Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 released this weekend in 3 colorways as a part of the “Candy Pack”. With a fusion of a modified Air Jordan 10 upper and the classically comfortable midsole of the Air Max 97 the CMFT 10′s get tricked out with a Red, Yellow and Green candy coated paint job. And with the success of the past Air Jordan Candy Pack 2′s I’m sure that we’ll be seeing these stuffed in a few Easter baskets this April.
