Women’s Nike Dunk High 6.0 – Bold Berry
Nike Dunk’s are alive and kicking, especially in the women’s assortment for 6.0. The “bold berry” falls no short of it’s color name, and the metallic silver, textured leather upper provides a special look. Look for these to leave the shop quick, as I know ladies will be hunting these down….

10 commentsSaucony Elite Grid 9000 x Bodega
Bodega – the extraordinary shop out of Boston, is back with another addition to the Saucony Elite line-up. This time around, they’ve resurrected an early 90′s gem in the Grid 9000 model. This retro running shoe comes in 4 fresh color options, premium materials, and that signature comfort Saucony always brings to the table. An interesting bit is the neoprene tongue which gives the feeling of a custom fit bootie around your foot. Saucony takes this a step further as only one side of the neoprene is stitched into the shoe providing easy entry and exit for your foot, and also a few different options when it comes to wearing it your way.
Since they dropped in the other day the debate has been on-going as to which is the best, which is really a testament to it being a solid pack overall. Some people are into the NY-colored orange/blue style, some like the wildness of the black/blue with the grid rip-stop toebox, and others…like our friend T., have copped all 4!!

No commentsNike Air Trainer SC II OG Quickstrike Pack – RESTOCK
A couple of weeks ago we received a last minute quickstrike of the Nike Air Trainer SC II’s in the original colorways, Citron & Infrared, and both colorways sold out just as quickly as they came in. But luckily for those of you who missed out on the initial drop we were able to snag up a second heaping of Trainer SC II’s (you can thank us later). But if I were you I wouldn’t make that fatal mistake of snoozing twice, so sprint, drive or fly your way over to Extra Butter asap (…or you can always just call or email as well) in order to get your hands on these coveted quickstrikes before they’re all gone… again.

No commentsBUTTER — by Hoddy, The Young Jedi
We interrupt this buttery filled blog program with….some more BUTTER. BUTTER straight from Jersey, by way of HODDY, The Young Jedi!!
Take away the fact that this track is called “BUTTER” which quickly gained my fandom – Hoddy is rocking my favorite (non-EB) snapback – the Neighborhood Sniper by Mishka, and put himself on the map with his BUTTER-y delivery and video-peek into his “base life”…Definitely a cat you’ll want to keep tabs on to see what’s next!

No commentsNike Air Ralston Mid – Black/Team Orange
Clean, casual and cool was the direction that Nike was headed with the Nike Air Ralston Mid. A well executed lifestyle shoe, the Ralston keeps an edgey yet subtle appeal while retaining all the comfort with it’s Nike Free inspired sole. The Black nubuck upper holds up well with the sharp Team Orange hits found on the tongue, lace tips and outsole of the shoe. The slim chukka silhouette of the Ralston delivers that so fresh, so clean look that you’ve been waiting for.

2 commentsVans Switchback: Brown/Yellow (All Weather)
Those old school Vans slip-on’s are money during the Summer months, but sometimes the colder weather calls for a little more toughness, enter the Vans Switchback All Weather. This outdoorsy Vans gets the cold weather treatment with a 3M Scotchgard upper along with some heavy duty metal lac hooks and woven laces. The Borwn suede upper looks clean against the Black and bright Yellow accents found throughout the shoe, a really snazzy Fall colorway if I’ve ever seen one.

You need boots? Well we got boots! Are buddies over at Amongst Friends first expanded into the realm of footwear last Fall with their AF Field Boot which was well received amongst their fans. So this Fall their foot wear collection has significantly expanded into a few more styles, all of which are executed with that signature Amongst Friends attention to detail.
This Fall ’11 collection has some of the fan faves from previous seasons with the addition of a little something new for this Autumn. The Fall collection features an all black take on the ever popular AF Field Boot, the black upper if composed of a blend of black tumbled leather and nylon which is off set by an off-white sole. The collection also features the return of the Ducky shoe, Amongst Friends’ casual take on the classic duck boot. This season’s Tan and Brown colorway should be a sure shot for this Fall, the Tan nubuck collar works well with the Brown tumbled leather toe. All of the shoe sits upon a comfy white rubber midsole. Both of these styles come Winter ready with Thinsulate linings which are sure to keep your feet warm throughout those chilly months.
The treat in this collection might be the the new AF Field Boot Mid which takes a mid cut boot approach to the AF Field Boot. The Field Boot Mid has a few key details which certainly adds to the appeal of the boot, such as the antique brass lace locks and the half -zip top which stylishly makes for a great fit.
