Japanese based Beauty & Youth is no rookie in the collaboration game.  With a diverse portfolio including Adidas, Reebok, Vans, and Converse, B&Y has successfully implemented their clean aesthetic onto many different sneakers.  This time around they worked with New Balance to produce a 1700, a classy silhouette not as frequently seen.

Using navy as the base color for most of the shoe, hits of khaki and off-white accent the simplicity.  Abzorb foam lines the sole, giving this shoe a comfort you might not expect given the tan leather.  Don’t be deceived, the shoe is definitely just as comfortable as you’d expect from NB.  The insole features a collage that spells out the namesake, saving the over-the-top graphics for the inside of the shoe.
