With the return of the Kamikaze II’s, new generation sneakerheads and old school Shawn Kemp fans have been excited to see what else Reebok unleashes on one of their more successful shoes. The latest we’ve received is a black-to-the-floor Kamikaze II, with logo accents and rain-pattern camo in metallic silver. The design is a play on words and an ode to Kemp’s nickname – the “Reignman”. As the stalwart for Seattle Supersonics during most of the 90′s, the “Reignman” moniker was adopted for his dominant play, while also pointing to the frequent rainy weather days in Seattle.

The “Reignman” camo is a nice textured treatment of reflective silver, making the shoe shine bright when it’s hit by light. I think this is a clever way to do a predominantly all black shoe, allowing it to be versatile for bad weather or breaking necks!
