Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Black Grape’

June 14th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

One of the most recent talked about sneakers, the Air Jordan 5 “Black Grape” is finally hitting the shelves this Saturday (June 15th), well, not for long that is. Taking an OG Jordan colorway and adding a twist is a brave move, and was executed perfectly, replacing the white leather with a soft black suede, making one of the most  sought after non-OG colorways in a while.

*Raffle will be held all day Friday, June 14th, 11am-8pm, Mens and GS sizes*

Air Jordan 11 Low – White/Black/True Red

June 08th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands

The Air Jordan 11 is an iconic shoe in the sports world as well as the ever changing world of sneakers. Jordan’s reign at the top of the league is represented and incorporated into his huge success with his sneakers and brand. It’s been years since Jordan has stepped onto the court professionally, yet he continues to kill it with with unique interpretations of his iconic footwear.

This Jordan 11 low is a perfect example of just that. While many love the black patent leather associated with the Concord’s and Bred’s, you cant ague how clean the white patent leather looks on this pair, especially contrasting against the black ballistic nylon on the other half of the upper. This two-toned pair features a real icy sole with red hits to accent the signature “23″ and jump man on the back.

*Releasing Saturday, June 8th. First come, first served*

Girls Air Jordan 11 Retro Low – “Pink Snakeskin”

June 07th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

Over a decade ago, back in 2001, was the last time we saw these “Pink Snakeskin’s.” That being said,  now, in 2013, we’re all extremely excited to see these again. It’s always good to see a GS exclusive that is as revered as these, as the female sneaker heads don’t get much in the category of limited releases. But don’t get me wrong, just because these 11′s feature a pink snakeskin does not mean these are exclusively a female sneaker, in fact, here at the shop, we’ve had all walks of life asking about these (which is awesome).

Releasing with its patent leather counter part, its easy to say that 2013 is not only the year of the snake, but also the year of the Jordan 11.

*Releasing Saturday, June 8th. First come, first served*

Air Jordan VIII “Suns” Black/Bright Citrus

May 17th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

Air Jordan VIII’s have been one of Jordan’s retro choices for the year, and the success of the “Bugs” were testament to how good of a decision that was. This time they implement a deep blue (dubbed by Dan as “Burple”) and a citrus orange to create what people have been calling the “Suns” colorway.

With a mostly black body, the orange and blue are more subtle hits then main points of the shoe, which lends to a look similar to the popular “Raptors”. The grey on the back ties it all together, giving it a balanced look that is definitely one of the best non-retro colorways of recent memory.

The Air Jordan VIII “Suns” release on Saturday, May 18th, In-Store only. First come, first served.

Jordan Court AC

May 10th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

Lifestyle Jordans always do a great job of blending the casual sensibility with the aesthetics of Jordan releases we’ve all come to love over the years.  These Court ACs feature many aspects of a favorite, the Jordan 3, in a new form that you can wear on the court and off without a problem.

One of the 3s most prominent features, the elephant print, makes an appearance here, but the stitching pattern is also reminiscent of the popular model.  Similar to the V.1s, these are sure to make their way out of the shop so don’t miss out on a great casual pair.

Air Jordan CP3 VI AE – “Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde”

May 09th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

It appears as if the latest CP3 VI’s to arrive re-tell the popular tale of the split personality enigma of “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”, a story that fans of last year’s CP3 V should already be familiar with.

The “Jekyll & Hyde” story points to CP3′s dual personalities in a different way than the classic tale. Chris Paul is known for being jovial, and a gentlemen off the court, while his on court reputation speaks of a more aggressive and menacing athlete will an incredible appetite for winning.

While each pair uniquely contrasts the other, even within each pair you can see differences in the medial side and the lateral side of the shoe. Really playing into the “split personality” story, the aesthetic differences are shown in the shoe’s color blocking, and even the placement of speckle or pattern print on either the shoe’s outsole or the interior collar lining.

The Air Jordan CP3 VI AE “Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde” release on Saturday, May 11th.

Air Jordan CP3 VI AE

May 07th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

Even though Chris Paul aka CP3 and his L.A. Clippers were ousted last week by the Memphis Grizzlies, it doesn’t take anything away from the solid season CP3 had, and what many consider his best shoe to date – the CP3 VI AE.

This low cut model has been a favorite for it’s comfortable “podulon” outsole and outstanding court feel and maneuverability. Much to the delight of long time Jordan fans, this CP3 VI comes in the historic “black/red/cement” mix that makes every shoe look flawless.

May 04th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals

And now, 23 years later (coincidence? I think not!) these Grapes are looking as nostalgic as ever.
And with a fleet of Grape inspired Air Jordan apparel to go hand in hand with these OG Jordans you can really achieve a serious throw back look that a lot of people are trying to achieve lately.
Air Jordan 5 “Grape” releasing Saturday, May 4th. — *Update – Men’s Sizes Sold Out!*

Air Jordan 1 ’93 – Wolf Grey/Cool Grey-Bright Citrus

April 30th, 2013 | Category: Air Jordan,Brands,New Arrivals,Nike

The Air Jordan 1 gets a mix in yet again, this time fusing Michael’s days spent slaying the Phoenix Suns in 1993 – hence the shoe’s name – Air Jordan 1 ’93.  The shoe borrows from Michael’s footwear at the time, the Air Jordan 8 and takes it’s accent colors from the Phoenix Suns…also eluding to a special colorway of the Air Jordan 8 set to come in sometime soon. Some of the AJ 8′s best details are incorporated into the Air Jordan 1 ’93, making this a release that surely won’t stick around long.

The Air Jordan 1 ’93 releases Saturday, May 4th.
