When first introduced to the ANMLHSE brand I found them to be quite ‘out there’ with their unique way of creating pieces for the masses. Then I found out that some members of their collective reside in the same hometown as mine, so I find it only right for me to big them up and represent them in the blog photos below!

Here at the shop we were fortunate to receive their new Yolo Crewneck & Sike Hoody. I for one can say that these two pieces are some of the most comfortable cool-to-cold weather tops I have worn in a while. The graphic on the cleverly named, “Yolo crewneck” is a funny way that ANMLHSE played around with the logo from that other brand with the man on the horse, that many of us have come to know for quite some time now. It reminds me of the Futurama episode when Bender joined the fox-hunting club and in one scene he ran into a fence riding his horse and ended up flipping over and running on the ground carrying the horse on his back.

The “Sike hoody” is a main pillar of their brand as a whole with the graphic resembling another familiar and beloved brand that we wear unconditionally everyday. It’s as comfortable as the crewneck, if not more since the hood gives the same level of warmth to your cranium on those dark, cold winter nights. As a old B-Boy myself, I love how it gives the rugged street look, mixed with a refreshing dash of simple and unique creativity. All-in-all these two dope pieces from ANMLHSE won’t fail you and definitely aren’t bad to add to your already growing arsenal of legit streetwear stashed in the closet!

The ANMLS are back in the house!! Haha..lucky us as we’ve received an assortment of dope ANMLHSE! The Boss running these streets out here by us wanted to get all animalistic and try out the full collection. The “Party Anmls” 5-panel is back in stock, for all those that missed the first drop over the summer that sold out in minutes. Last Saturday in conjunction with our friends from ANMLHSE and A.L.I.E.N. we held an “Arcade Jam”. We turned the shop into a video game wonderland and held two extremely intense tournaments in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Ultimate Marvels vs. Capcom.

While everyone from the EB team got completely washed, we had a blast and thank everyone who came down to be a part of this! Big congrats to Brian (Super Smash Bros. Brawl) and Wayne (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom) for getting their “Everyday Champion” on and winning their respective tournament! Special thanks to Panda and ANMLHSE, and Quan of A.L.I.E.N./Gotham Kafe/Visions.18 for coming together with the creation of this event and providing some sweet prizes for the tournament finalists!

Big buttery THANK YOU to our friends from ANMLHSE, as they sent over some of their ANML LIFE Snapbacks and SIKE crewnecks today!!

The Anmls have been supporting and rocking with us from the jump and we got nothing but love for our Zoo friends out in Philly! There’s been a lot of talk about another Super Smash Bros. tournament at the shop, and I don’t know ANMLS, it might just be about that time again….

There’s not much to recap. But if you came by on Friday you’d know at times it was pretty packed, and some of the matches during the Super Smash Bros. tournament got quite intense. Panda stomped me out pretty quick, but Alex did some damage with an upset victory over a different Alex of the GameStop fam.

The ANMLS came through strong, but our boy Chris (too many nicknames to list) took the championship over Peteyrilla in the end. If there was a circuit where he could enter more competitions of this nature, I’m pretty sure I’d want to carve out some time to be his manager….that boy’s goooooood! Wearing the MondoTees x L’amour Supreme shirt could also be a big help.
