Tis the season…

Holiday time yes, but with that comes the inconvenience of bad weather and deciding whether or not to wear a pair of your precious kicks through potentially snowy grounds, dirty sludge on the wet cement. What’s worse, is when you wake up and it’s nice, dry, and sunny outside….you decide to break out some heat and then later in the day you come to find you’re using them as snow boots.

So anyone who follows our twitter and facebook closely may have caught my little unfortunate experience that took place at the legendary Long Island staple – All American Burger. Basically what happened was, we headed there for Russ’ birthday…and I was all buttered up in my new favorite pants (Publish: Gonzalo Jogger!) and those new magenta Nike Air Flows that I was jumping around in here (getting a restock next week of those Air Flows by the way). As I’m about to order some kid spills his above average sized cup of ketchup all over the floor…splattering it around the bottom of the pants and on the medial and lateral parts of the Air Flows. Some of it even got on the suede and the colorful upper. I was definitely swallowing my anger for a good minute or two. But mistakes happen, I was with the best of company, and I knew it was nothing the superfreak Jason Markk shoe cleaner couldn’t handle.

Below you’ll see how they looked a few days after the ketchup incident…I had wiped them off pretty well immediately after it happened, but you can see how the ketchup got into the suede, but you can’t see how it darkened a lot of the other parts of the upper.

Now witness the immaculate work of Jason Markk shoe cleaner…good as new, ready for another trip to All American Burger and other sauce flying food spots!
