Saucony Elite drops are always highly anticipated and this one is no different. Always crafted with a mix of fine materials the Saucony Elite series is a follow up to last February’s drop.

The G9 Control features a rare but perfect combination of colors, with a nylon toe box we’re all pretty psyched about, while the G9 Shadow 6 uses leopard print in the midst of a tan and brown upper littered with small accents of pop color.

Both Saucony Elites release tomorrow – Saturday, May 4th in-store at 11am.

Saucony’s strong partnership continues on this time with UK sneaker giants – Hanon! For their collaboration Hanon decided to take a new fusion, the Shadow Master – a classic runner that fuses the Shadow Master style with the famed Shadow 5000 outsole.

A buttery mix of premium suede and perforated leather these are simple and clean around the whole shoe, and you see Hanon puts their signature flame logo in tonal fashion on both the tongue and the heel.

The Hanon x Saucony Shadow Master will be available in limited quantities on Saturday, March 9th in-store (11 am) and then online (12 pm).

As Saucony continues to roll out the heat this year, another new project hits the shop! A special collab with Berlin’s Solebox. The Shadow 5000 is the shoe in play for Part 2 of the Saucony x Solebox “Three Brothers” series. Perhaps the most unique of the bunch, the “pink/grey” color up is the style we received. With great color blocking and a very limited run, you can bet these won’t last long on the shelves.

The first two pairs from Bodega’s Elite colab with Saucony, the G9 Shadow 6 and G9 Shadow 5, have made their way to the shop. Being huge Saucony fans here at the shop, these shoes are ones we unanimously agree on, and it’s easy to see why. With both shoes incorporating both nylon and suede fabrics, the color blocking is not only an eye catcher, but also adds some subtle textural differences, which is a really nice touch. Using some serious 90′s colors, the G9 Shadow 6 exemplifies a time when bright, loud colors were done just right, and who doesn’t love a speckled sole? On the other end of the spectrum we have the earthy G9 Shadow 5. The toebox on these are too dope with a camo-print stretching across it, complimenting the browns, greens and yellows on this rad shoe.

2 factions from California have got together with Saucony for special collaborations and unique concepts on their shoes.

An up and coming lifestyle boutique – “Bait” celebrate their flagship store opening by the release of this Grid 9000. The “Viridian Burner” is a unique hue of green, with strong red accents, and a bit of reflective white material as well. Expanding on Bait’s previous work with their Asics “Rings” pack, this could be a sign of even more great things to come from the Diamond Bar, CA newcomers!

Bait also teamed up with internet-world mainstay – Pick Your Shoes, for a gorgeous suede Shadow 6000′s called the “Blue Apple”. A clever concept considering the “Blue Apple” is indeed a “bait” itself as the forbidden fruit that was eaten in the Garden of Eden by Adam & Eve. The absolutely gorgeous colorway also stems from the name “BAIT” itself with it’s Blue-Apple-Ivory-Tan blend of pure perfection.

Get a head start on the Fall season, the Saucony Elite program is back with another strong pack. With Saucony’s Grid 9000 becoming a hallmark style in their lineup, the latest offering brings the most decorated piece to the Grid 9000…but with a twist.

Introducing the G9′s…we received 3 hybrid models that all feature that signature Grid 9000 outsole that I eluded to above. This comfy ride was mashed underneath the uppers of the Master Control, Shadow 5000, and Shadow 6000. Each model features an array of premium materials with rich suede being the most prominent.

The G9 Control, G9 Shadow 5, and G9 Shadow 6 release this Friday, August 17th in-store and online.

Our friends over at Packer Shoes have been, releasing a steady flow of solid collabs over the past few years. Their latest effort gives their take on a Saucony model the sneaker world has fallen in love with as of late, the Grid 9000. The Packer crew added some bright color pop well timed for the summer onto this gorgeous silhouette with that amazing half-sewn tongue.

If you haven’t tried a pair of Grid 9000′s, this would be a great time to start with either of the 2 colorways we received. One has a Miami Dolphins-like colorway that can keep you geared up for this season’s “Hard Knocks”, while the other mixes an ultramarine with some light blue and pink adequately mixed in.

Big fans of our friends at Sneaker Freaker – is there any better publication when it comes to the pure freak….freak of the sneaks, haha. Woody and the folks down under are as passionate as it gets about kicks and whether it be sharing knowledge about the business and culture, or designing their own special make-up with a company…they always come correct. To our friends that visited at SneakerCon over the weekend – these dropped Saturday, and served as the surprise we brought with us to the show…and to much delight!

Their first go with Saucony bring us the “Bushwhackers” – a fresh spring mix of colors on likely the most comfortable silhouette in the Saucony range! Fans of the half-sewn in tongue will appreciate Sneaker Freaker’s choice to add the cinched speed lacing system to stay locked in. And you know with the EB team being big fans of the WWF, we had to put our “Bushwhacker” friends, Luke & Butch into the mix…. congrats on 10 strong years Sneaker Freaker!!

Boston veterans, Bodega, continue to roll out gems under the Saucony Elite umbrella with their Round 5 Collection that just arrived at the shop. The pack consists of the Grid 9000, Master Control, and Jazz 91. Bodega brings unique touches to all 3, with fancy color ups and exquisite use of materials.

All 3 Saucony styles are what you’d place your money on…super comfortable, and I feel this drops has the best versatility as far as pairing the kicks with pants or shorts once the weather turns.

Bodega – the extraordinary shop out of Boston, is back with another addition to the Saucony Elite line-up. This time around, they’ve resurrected an early 90′s gem in the Grid 9000 model. This retro running shoe comes in 4 fresh color options, premium materials, and that signature comfort Saucony always brings to the table. An interesting bit is the neoprene tongue which gives the feeling of a custom fit bootie around your foot. Saucony takes this a step further as only one side of the neoprene is stitched into the shoe providing easy entry and exit for your foot, and also a few different options when it comes to wearing it your way.

Since they dropped in the other day the debate has been on-going as to which is the best, which is really a testament to it being a solid pack overall. Some people are into the NY-colored orange/blue style, some like the wildness of the black/blue with the grid rip-stop toebox, and others…like our friend T., have copped all 4!!
