Men’s Old School Vans
We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again, but classics are a classic for a reason. These Vans speak to that, while applying certain modern elements that make these a must have for any skate enthusiast or someone looking for a classic look.
The dark turquoise is a great modern summer color, and is bound to look dope with a pair of shorts and high socks. The reflective material on the side marking give these the little up-to-date oomph, making these stand out from your regular Vans selections. With all the reflective hits on basketball shoes and runners, its great to see them on a pair of skate shoes that have such a simple clean aesthetic.
Vans are a must have for the summer, and for those looking for something different from the rest of the Eras and Classics, these are a must cop.

No commentsVans Era & Sk8-Hi – ‘Inca Pack’
Amongst the patterns that we have been seeing as of recent, Native American influenced ones have always stuck out to me as a personal favorite. This Inca-inspired pattern sits really well on these Vans in both silhouettes.
The Era is a great simple model that always holds well to patterns. A staple in Vans’ patterned endeavors, this is no exception, taking to the colors and shapes perfectly, providing a large canvas space. The Sk8-Hi uses less of the pattern, instead taking on a lot of Blue. This leaves the patterned sections to serve as accents rather than a base, giving it a different flavor from the Era.
Both of them are great for those summer Vans-inspired looks, and will look dope beat up as your summer carries on. Stop by and check them out.

No commentsEB Staff Picks: TK – Summer Life
When I was younger, summer meant getting Ice Cream with my family and friends. Now that I’m older, the first thing I think of when summer comes around is breaking out a pair of Vans. This summer’s choice for me was the Acid Wash Eras. When these kids Vans came into the shop shortly after, I had to pick the little man up a pair and take him out for Ice Cream at the best local spot in town, Five Pennies Creamery.
Surrounded by corporate competition, Five Pennies stands strong, serving up delicious custard, ice cream, italian ices, and ice cream cakes, most of which is home-made. E.G. and I swung by to try some of their flavors after a day of running around outside in our new Vans. Watching my summers come full circle is dope, and seeing the little dude run around roaring like a dinosaur is always a plus.

No commentsVans Surf: Sk8 Hi, Del Norte (Aloha) & Lanai Sandal (Flamingo)
Welcome to the start of this week…fresh with a new set of Vans from their “Surf” line. Having recently visited the beach, as you can see from previous posts on our blog – this pack of Surf shoes, really gets us in the beach mode even more.
The Sk8-Hi Reissue and Del Norte (both designed by Pro-Surfer – Dane Reynolds) show off a fun “Aloha” print in different ways – for the bold and subtle…both are constructed with the Vans Surf standards in mind. Either pair gives me the desire to throw them on with some shorts, head to the shores, and catch some Weekend At Bernie’s type nonsense going on for a weekend. The same goes for the Lanai Sandal which has vacation getaway written all over it. All 3 pairs are available now and waiting for you to strip down and head to the beach with!

No commentsVans Half Cab Tie Dye & Era Acid Denim
Lots buzzing at the shop as evidenced by the heat below, going through last week, and well yeah…all the time! This is what we do. And we’re proud to bring you more…
Vans have been hitting our shelves lately and we just received 3 more styles we know take up some space for now, but not too much longer. With a look that is a throwback to the early 80′s when I was a young buck (yes, I’m old now) – Vans take two elements I grew up with, tie dye and acid wash and applies it to 2 of their signature models.
The Half Cab has forever been a favorite on many levels, the tie dye application gets done in 2 different colorways – blue & rust. The “blue” is nicely set off with some contrast stitching as well, while the “rust” pair brings out a variety of tones against the predominantly black upper.
We also received an easy pair of Era, perfect to beat around all summer long – with the vintage acid wash treatment I mentioned earlier. An easy cop for a go-to pair without question. These are all available now, but like I said I fully expected these to be snatched up quick!

No commentsVans Sk8 Hi – Metallica “Kill ‘Em All”
Although we just posted our recent Vans drop, I thought I might give these some extra love because the theme of this sneaker strikes a chord (no pun intended) to a topic that’s being brought up more often as of late.
Not knocking on any artists, or what our customers may be into, but you can’t expect to come by the shop and only hear music that was featured on Hypetrak. The fact of the matter is, the music playing in the shop reflects the different walks of life our staff is from. The songs and artists speak to us on a visceral level, not speak to what’s on the billboard charts. If you’re not feeling it, all good- do you… and we hope you still enjoy you’re shopping experience with us. And for those who are either feeling or just respect it, thank you ’cause you just get us.
That said, these Vans might not be for everyone. But the long line of Metallica inspired designs makes complete sense for the heritage of Vans brand. This Kill ‘Em All colorway is a direct reference to the heavy metal’s band’s debut album of the same name. Cop a pair and show you still have some anger and edge in you!

Now that the cool weather is coming, it’s a sign to get ready for fall time because it will be here soon! Vans Women’s Mohikan has a moccasin vibe to it but has a few different features.
