10 Deep’s message for each season always tend to be a natural fit with Extra Butter and our ideology. Simply titled “Never Ran, Never Will”, it should be easy to understand both 10 Deep’s and Extra Butter’s attitude. By now you should be used to seeing us, and we ain’t going nowhere!!

10 Deep… How do you get baseball jackets…so…right?! Bam is wearing the Snake River Canyon Tee with the Fight or Flight Baseball Jacket in a colorway that’s too easy you just can’t say no too… Black body with red ribbing, quilted gold lining, topped off with the antique snap buttons? And the chenille tiger mascot? Damn.

Jon is repping the Go Hard Tee, a bold and straight to the point statement. Cowards beware, better start walkin’.

Wait, this is a tee? 10 Deep breaks out the cut & sew for this Coat of Arms Split Tee, featuring a custom color blocked body and even a patch adorned on the left sleeve, 10 Deep is letting you know when it comes to t-shirts, they aren’t fooling around.

Once you get to know Jason, you realize he must be part cat. Wearing the Proud Problem Pullover Hood, Jay is in cat stance with a tiger on his arm and panthers on his feet. Both the statement on the front and name on the back are broadcasted by tackle twill applique. Jay’s rage is aided by his chain he’s swinging around, I’d watch out…

Along with Sujel rocking the twin sai, he also has on the 10-X Short Sleeve Shirt. A solid black pocket dominates this spring plaid to make it problem approved.

Another Pump hits the shelves…

Aside from it’s sick colorway, the shoe also features a mesh upper, spandex material on the tongue, textured detail on the toe guard, and a brand new (heavy duty) ball chain - commemorating the pump’s 20 year anniversary!

A couple weeks ago, the Amongst Friends Spring tees came in (check here). Now the cut & sew has arrived, an area where the brand has stepped it up in a major way.

While we hit the driving range last time, we decided to stay indoors for a little private card game this time around. Does John Malcovich’s quotes from “Rounders” come to mind…anyone?

Here are some of the details of the AF cut & sew below:

Bernie (the stoic gamer getting his Phil Ivey on): The “Always on the Green” New Era 59/50 keeps his eyes low. Not low enough as he ends up losing out and trading in his watch as collateral. Better that, then the “Bellport” Hooded Deck Jacket, a lightweight chambray jacket, with a fancy pleated front.

Jason (cool guy in the sunglasses):  Smooth as he may be in the short-sleeve “Beaumont” Half Placket Shirt, the cards didn’t fall his way. It wasn’t too long before he had to dig into his “Heritage” wallet - embossed with the AF logo and equipped with a money clip. A loser again…at least he’s got a slick jacket - the “Engineers” Blazer, a lightweight, brushed-cotton twill coat fit for Spring.

Evan (the serious player): Howard Lederer may be the “Poker Professor”, but Evan looks the part of a card shark scholar in his “Dunwood” Hooded Rugby Shirt (with clean cuff and sleeve detail). He thinks he has one-upped the competition, but the stress on his face should show that…

Alex (lucky bastard): wins the pot!! In the end Alex beat out his rival, taking the scholar to school in his “Educate” Henley Sweat shirt - a fine piece made from baby french terry. Check out the cotton shirting trim inside the collar…Alex tops the outfit (and the win) off with the “Offerings” New Era Gatsby, complete with AF logo patch and the same lining inside the henley collar, on the inside of the cap.

Russ (the dealer who knows the deal): he brought the game to us. Housing his pro-poker chips and deck inside the “Wells” Chambray Back Pack. He ran the game, now take a look at how it all went down…

Vans Half Cab and 2 Era’s just arrived…

The Half Cab in addition to it’s stellar color, also has a bit of jacquard loom in the upper.

The Era’s are just classic a Polo-esque colorway and the clean chambray pair. Perfect.

Yesterday’s post was all about “Sorry guys, only women’s sizes!”, today that shouldn’t be the case.

Not with these girly-er than girly “Strawberry Shortcake” kicks. Not hating though…these are kind of cute. I feel like my sister had a sleeping bag with this print on it when we were younger. And this is also the type of shoe I could see my friends, (you know who you are) that stay playing “Cafe World” on facebook, picking up so they can get their bake on!

Girly is good…after all, we just appeared here on lipstickdiaries.com for the girl’s Spizike’s that are now sold out!

I hear the groans again - “Why do girls get all the good $#!*??”

In this first case though, it was guy’s that got this shoe only leaving the girl’s with their fair share of complaints. So wishes granted - the “Heavy Metal” Vandals that dropped last year are now available in kids sizes…so now girls can rock out with…I’m not finishing that, I actually hate that saying.

In case you haven’t noticed Nike 6.0 has been stepping it up season after season. And as far as ladies are concerned, you are all taken care of as each release from the Women’s 6.0 division has been nothing less than strong.

Check out the Dunk Low and Dunk High in the usual fresh colored 6.0 aesthetic.

The Dunk High features a see-through material on the mid-panel, something I haven’t seen quite before…in this execution at least.

And lastly is a new silhouette called the Nike 6.0 Balsa. Amazing…I’m already fan of a low profile, casual look, but to add this kind of color pop and the sexy little zebra print tab on the back….WOOOO! Spit hot fiyah like Dy-lan on Chappelle skit.

Time to gear up…Nike’s calling your name!

We got in a Dunk High and Dunk Low both flossing some “university blue”, that will help UNC Tar Heel fans prepare for March Madness…

Sticking with the blue, but on the royal side this time, received a new Auto Flight High. Upper made of soft nylon and a white sole that screams clean.

I know the warm weather brings people back out onto the courts. If you’re hoopin’ on the blacktop, maybe you want to go with the latest colorway of Air Max Uptempo.

Kids will break their boards out again and start carving up the curbs… a new Air Mogan 2 from Nike 6.0 should do the trick.

And back to just something new to look fly in. The Nike Blazer Low AC and Blazer High AC, get treated with a new velcro look. Exotic print upper on the low top, with the high’s upper made of reflective 3m.

You already know what happens when the flash hits it…BEAMIN!

I love this time of year…yeah, we’re supposed to get more snow tonight, but I know the warm weather is around the corner. Why? Because, the new Vans Surf collection is here, so anyone ready to gear up can do so now. I know the warmth is coming soon!!

We got a new Joel Tudor color-up of the 106 SF. The shoe is waste-free and the hemp canvas upper is made of re-cycled plastic bottles. There’s pretty sick “Kookbox” graphics printed on the in-sole, but I’ll let you come in to see for yourself. The 2nd pair of black laces might win over the grey in my opinion.

The Rata Plus (a consistent EB favorite) is back again! Obviously good for a more grown look, but also super comfy and  ready to be rocked on your way to the beach…

An update to the Rata Plus, is the Rata Vulc. The gum-rubber vulc outsole gives the shoe a sturdier, yet still hyper flexible and soft feel. With Spring Break and other warm-weather getaways coming up, these shoes are perfectly packable and easy to keep with you on the go.  The blue hemp is pretty tasty as well…
