2012 is here, and we just got in our first drop of Nike’s for the year. A triplet of Nike Air Max 90′s just hit our shelves, along with a classic Nike Bruin VNTG to keep the feet looking clear in the new year. The Air Max 90′s consist of three different colorways; a Medium Grey/Black/Team Red, a Red Mahogany/White/Safety Orange, and a Obsidian/White/Midnight Fog. All three colorways work well to make a special blend for 2012.

If simplicity is what you flavor, then take a look at the classic Black/Sail colorway in the Nike Bruin VNTG. the vintage treated mid-sole of the sneaker pays homage to the timeless style of this low-profiled, clean looking, all suede sneaker. A perfect casual shoe with that keen understated flair.

Happy New Year folks! Hope everyone had a good holiday. Needless to say, Extra Butter and crew had a great one, finishing off the year strong with our first Reebok collab- the highly anticipated “AHCHOO” Pump AXT. After all the videos, photos, tweets, and blog coverage, the wait was finally over; all leading up to our midnight in-store release this past Friday.

Line-ups are nothing new for us, but words cannot express how it feels when they’re lining up down the block for your own product. (Even more to see our webstore crash the following morning, only to find out our online stock sold out in less than 11 minutes!). They weathered the cold night, but sure enough found their way into the shop. Customers were greeted with the red carpet treatment along with a photo opp and tunes provided by DJ Tezo. Shouts to Paulie, the first in line, welcomed with an extra treat -a copy of the Robin Hood: Men in Tights dvd! Speaking of special treat, some of you may have found an extra trinket in your shoebox… examine closely .

Overall, the response of this release exceeded all our expectations. It is a priceless and honoring feeling to witness the tremendous response to this project. We hope those who got a pair are filled with similar content for the product that we and Reebok yielded. And we couldn’t have done it without all the supporters, customers who copped, and other select shops who stocked the AHCHOO Pumps. And an especially big thanks to JNSQ Films for giving our viral videos life, Cam Brewster for taking the role of our AHCHOO, and Tim, David, Kyle, Eric and the other good people at Reebok for giving us this opportunity and make a dream come true!

The latest Lebron 9 colorway is set to drop, and another special edition it is. With the Lebron’s Miami Heat already off to a 2 – 0 start, we should expect to see Lebron in his new pair of 9′s entitled, the “Freegums” featuring the Miami based Peruvian artist – Freegums.

An all over print of Freegums art is on the tissue paper from the box, the inside of the shoe, and fused onto the white upper panels as well. Is this the Lebron 9 you must have or adding to your already stellar collection?!

HO HO HO! Merrrrrrrrrry Christmas!! What better way to celebrate the holiday cheer than with special edition releases of some of the best bball shoes this season. Even more fitting is that the NBA is finally set to return to action this holiday weekend making this release even more exciting. Anyone have any predictions for this shortened season’s NBA champs?

All 3 shoes are available in limited quantity and will release on Monday, December 26th when we open at 11AM.

Kobe VII’s and Lebron 9′s are both available in kids (gs) sizes.

One of the shoes we have in is the new Kobe VII “Leopard”, the new signature shoe for Kobe Bryant, who should be one of the front runners on the L.A. Lakers to take home the title this season. The violet/volt colorway is reminiscent of the “Joker” release last year, but the red laces and spotty cheetah print on the upper is what sets it apart. The Kobe VII is also advanced in design as it is now modular, coming with two different sockliners for different styles of play on the court.

My (homer) pick for the NBA champion this year is the New York Knicks!! The additions of Mike Bibby, Baron Davis, and my favorite – Tyson Chandler – make this team a force to be reckoned with. Let’s not forget, we get another year of developed chemistry from the team’s two superstars – Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. “Stat” or Amare, is the guy who started the rebirth of the Knicks and we couldn’t be more excited to bring in his signature shoe, the Air Max Sweep Thru, in a special edition Christmas color (Lucky Green/Sport Red-White). This is the first Air Max Sweep Thru we’ve received and I’m glad to report that it’s extremely comfortable and the colorway is an obvious winner.

Following suit of the Lebron 8, this year’s Lebron 9 also gets decked out in a special edition Christmas color up as he tries to take his Miami Heat back to the NBA finals. The “Christmas” Lebron 9′s feature a reflective swoosh and chunks of the reflectivity meshed through the popping green laces. The icy outsole is also on another level as it literally looks like ice and has been given a sparkle treatment to give it a little more holiday feel.

This year it is the ever-classic “Concord” colorway. The classiest of the Air Jordan XI colorways, in all it’s white and black glory…with “concord” purple splashed in small doses looking like grape juice spills on the icy outsole.

We will be opening at 10AM on Friday, December 23rd!!
They will only be for sale that day at that time.
They will be available in limited amounts in Men’s, Kids (Grade School), Pre-School (PS), and Toddler (TD).
