adidas introduces a new iteration to the 4D line, now taking design hues from the iconic ZX heritage made famous during the 80’s. The ZX 4000 4D features a Primeknit upper, tonal suede panel wrapping, and additional suede features seen on lateral-side toe box, in a “Carbon” colorway makeover reminiscent of throwback runners from The Three Stripes.
When conceptualizing the setting for our editorial, the futuristic design of the printed midsole is reminiscent of the beautiful concept behind Brookfield Place’s architecture. Located in Downtown Manhattan and designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, the pair of 54-foot twisting spiral columns match the design DNA that best showcase the footwear’s innovation.
The adidas ZX 4000 4D “Carbon” is releasing April 6th. Enter the draw via EB Releases. Sizes 5-13.
