Extra Butter presents an exclusive photo editorial of the Reebok Pump Omni Zone II. Many OG's remember this Pump silhouette was made famous 30 years ago during the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest when Boston Celtics rookie, Dee Brown, pumped the tongues up near center court and then executed the now infamous, "No Look" Dunk.
Though the classic black/white and orange pump has been seen executed on the Pump Omni Lite over the years, this is the first retro of the Dee Brown Pumps in its truest form. Though the silhouettes are very similar in aesthetic and specs, a keen Reebok connoisseur will notice the variance in details. The Omni Zone features a slightly taller stature, a mesh overlay around the ankle collar, ribbed textile lining and embroidered brand details.
Though this Pump lives amongst one of the most legendary silhouettes and a part of sports history, we decided to present it from a lifestyle and fashion lens, styling it with some of our favorite pieces from the shop- featuring Carhartt WIP, John Elliot, Stone Island, and IISE.
The Reebok Pump Omni Zone II ($140) will be available for sale in-store at both locations and online on March 5th at 11am EST.
