I wouldn’t say I’m lazy, I just don’t enjoy spending time on grooming habits. Living in NYC, it seems like every minute is filled with something to do and grooming is often so low on my “important” list. With that being said, it’s still important. And there are tips and tricks to healthy skin regardless of how lazy or pressed for time you might be. Ahead, we highlight some ways.
Shampoo Less
Most guys clean their hair daily due to sweat and build up throughout the day. When you are cleaning your hair, consider shampooing every other day. The soap in shampoo easily dries out the hair.
Dry brush
Exfoliating your body is just as important as your face. Dry brushes are made of natural bristles and will get rid of dead skin and acne while increasing overall circulation. It also feels like a mini massage.
Take Cold Showers
Sounds harsh but warm water is very sensitive on the skin and showering in cold water will prevent less dry skin in the long run.
Baking Powder Toothpaste
If you’re short on toothpaste or looking to whiten teeth, mix ½ teaspoon of baking powder and water for the paste and brush as usual.
