Buckle up, it's Safari time! First released as part of the Air Pack in '87, the beloved cult classic Air Safari returns. Staying true to the original, this faithful recreation comes dressed in the same neutral color palette. A perfect blend of rich leather in black, Monarch and Light Iron Ore hues creates a flawless base to the iconic Safari print leather accents.

Back in the '80s, "fashion" was still considered a dirty word around Nike, but a young designer by the name of Tinker Hatfield showed up with an architectural background and some bold ideas. While in New York, Hatfield went to a swanky furniture store where he spotted a luxe ostrich leather sofa. Inspired by the distinct texture and patterning of the ostrich leather, Hatfield knew he had to bring that look to life in a modern sneaker. He sketched up some ideas, and the Air Safari was born.
