New York City's oldest public market is reintroduced in a brighter and bigger space. Located at intersection of Delancey and Essex, Essex Market has been a staple to the Lower East Side community and the long home of local vendors. In its new location right across the street, its mission is to continue supporting small businesses that provide differentiation and a unique experience. The market and it's sleek rebranding houses 21 legacy vendors, 18 new stalls, and two full-service restaurants. We’re glad to see some of our neighborhood favorites like Sugar Sweet Sunshine and Shopsins continue serving LES.
