Neighborhood Review - Regina's Grocery

Neighborhood Review - Regina's Grocery article image

Regina's Grocery has only been open for little over a year but feels as if it has existed in "Old New York" forever. In the intimate space - with walls lined authentic Italian sundries and pop culture embellishments - Regina's provides no-nonsense, quality ingredients and always fresh baked Parisi bread, making this a must for any Lower East Side visitor or resident. Specializing in Italian sandwiches and salads named after family members (and himself), Roman Grandinetti brings genuine atmosphere to some of the best food you can get on Orchard Street. Favorites include the Cousin Cristina with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, rounded out with house balsamic and roasted red peppers. For those who prefer a vegetarian option, the Ricky is a great mix of that same mozzarella with Regina's (Roman's mother) signature pesto, Tomato, Arugula, Balsamic and crunchy Stirato bread.

If you are a connoisseur of nostalgic vibes and great food, Regina's Grocery, located at 27 Orchard Street, will take you there.
