Clarks x Black Panther with costume designer, Ruth E. Carter

On a cold Thursday night, the Clarks store was filled with life, smiles, and excitement for the collaboration of Clarks and the upcoming movie Black Panther.

During this exclusive event, guests such as myself were lucky enough to hear words from the costume designer, Ruth E. Carter and the process of creating these beautiful costumes for the movie. She expressed her feelings of how important the task was for her and the experience of working along side the design team and directing team for the film. It was interesting to hear her speak about how this is a project that gave her a lot of freedom to work. As cold as it was, Ruth E. Carter brought a lot of warm energy to the room and taught many of us how far hard work can go.
