What is Lychee? Lychee is a tropical fruit native to the Guangdong and Fujian provinces of southeastern China. The milky white flesh is aromatic to taste and protected by a thin peelable coat. Some people say it tastes like a grape with a hint of rose, while others claim it tastes more like a pear or watermelon
