Adult & Junior Echo Clog

Extra Butter, partnered with Crocs and The Jetsons on a footwear collaboration celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic animated series. The Extra Butter x The Jetsons x Crocs Echo Clog will release exclusively through Extra Butter in both adult ($80) and junior ($60)

Design inspiration for the Echo Clog, one of Crocs’ newest model styles, is taken directly from the setting of The Jetsons’ Orbit City. The molded shoe is taken over by a space-age green colorway, contrasted by a pop of blue in the co-branded footbed. The design comes to life with 3D-molded Jibbitz of the flying car, the Skypad apartment building. Additional custom rocket booster Jibbitz were attached to the heel strap. Each pair will be packaged in a custom, retro-graphic box.

“Mid-Century Modern has been making such a comeback lately- providing inspo for people’s home decor, vintage furniture finds, and ultimately their personal fashion style. This laid the groundwork to champion a relevant product story for The Jetsons,” say Extra Butter creative director, Bernie Gross. “Some of the more overlooked aesthetics of the Mid-Century Modern era were Googie and Atomic movements- both emphasizing highly stylized art directions that spoke to a space age, futurist perspective. This design code was only augmented once The Jetsons hit television sets across the country. When I first came across the Crocs Echo Clog, it felt very retro-future and immediately identified an opportunity to champion The Jetsons story.”
